Hey Gabriel, great points and you're totally right, but let me clarify why we made the design decisions we did. We utilize the same four mounts that the factory does, with the exception of the two front mounts utilize relocation brackets to make installation the heck of a lot easier. But we found the OEM Mount to be insufficient for true structural integrity for a skid plate, which is why we've picked up the four rear M8 frame bolts to ensure that we get a substantial mounting location. Once you've done your first installation, I think you'll find this to be a reasonably easy reinstallation after oil change.
Hello. Do you recall how far the skid plate is from the oil filter? I had an AR skid on my 16 AT. A rock tossed up and dented the plate enough to dent my oil filter. The way I look at it, the skid did it's job. Was going to add a plate to the front to make it thicker but I ended up selling it a few weeks ago and now have a T7. Loved the AT but it was just to big for the off road riding I do.
The T7 oil filter is about an inch at the closest spot (most of it is well over an inch away). If you dented the oil filter on the AT that must have been a one serious hit! The AT oil filter is over an inch at the closest spot!
How about developing disc guards for the tenere 700..Noone wants bent brake rotors
You're request has been passed along!
Couldn't use factory mounting holes like every other manufacturer?? As we t7 owners all know the skid plate has to come off for oil changes

Is this skid plate compatible with high exhaust options such as the HP Corse design for a 2023 bike?
Yes, most high exhaust attach after it leaves the skid plate area. As long as you're not replacing the headers it should work.
Just put mine on my t7 looks good and fits good. Oil changes are not going to be fun
Glad you like it! Once the brackets are in place they don't need to be adjusted. Then it's just a few bolts to take the skid plate on and off
