honestly I love those "shit" creepypastas, despite the cheesy and crappy writing of it. That's why I eye roll when I see people like Goose Boose or Mutahar/SOG say how creepypastas suck (I do like Goose tho), because despite the crappiness of them, that's what makes it _good_ and memorable.
Goose is just bad because his content is boring lmao. I feel like people are afraid to enjoy things that arnt considered "cool". Classic Creepypasta is a product of its era and honestly that's all part of the charm. They are bad because they were never meant to be anything other than a creepy story you would stumble across on 4chan or SA. I still think they hold a lot of charm and fun, even if they are not scary.
@@graymads I do enjoy his videos as said, but it does feel he tries hard to be cynical (case and point, his opinions of the Mandela Catalogue just feels like he wanted to be in the minority) or doing three videos on predators that just state the same point. And I agree, as cheesy as they are, classic creepypastas are literally suppose to be like that: charming and fun, I in particular still love the Pokemon creepypastas despite how bad they are.
@@angelrosas3724 mutahar is just pretentious annoying copycating Critikal 2.0, and the fact he has no actual realization of that truly shows he's lost his way.
It's still an intense image, haha, doubly so since no one seems to know its origin for certain. For a while, back in the day, I would skip whole channels that featured the image in a thumbnail; hell, I couldn't even *say his name* without getting a bit fearful! I would call him Jej the K hahaha. Great memories! These days, uh... he's kinda cute. I totally see what the people on tumblr were seeing in him haha
Well, hopefully the extra comments and Likes will help! So, real quick, I'm seeing a trend of "Hybrids" when it comes to "SpookyTube", and what I mean are channels that are a little Nexpo-y, but also more casual, but not so much like that one goofy guy whose name I can't recall right this moment. There's another channel, called "dont look at me" that is another Hybrid of these two styles. At any rate, keep up the good work! I am looking forward to this next generation of SpookyTubers!
Omg when I was younger I had a dream of smile dog and I was CONVINCED he was haunting me because well that's kind of his thing I was terrified, I love him now but I was so scared of him as a kid is was kind of scared of huskies after the dream aswell 😭😭😭😭
My favorite trend related to all these classic edgy creepypastas are all the rewrites and reimaginings of the stories and characters that make them actually pretty good, like David Near’s “The Morgue Files” Ngl I’m not entirely sure what gives Snopes the label of “cringe factory” but that made me giggle
Let's be fair here; the first time I stumbled across these was when I was in the fifth grade. I was scared shitless, I didn't even go to sleep afterwards!
On DeviantArt I rarely see any Classic Creepypasta art or even stories (even if they sucked, they had some kind of charm or the creator is selfaware that its bad but has fun) Sure there's the occasional reference, but that's about it It's kinda sad in a way A vast genre alot of late millennials and Gen Z grew up with is just gone or in a coma state Even on Newgrounds I can't seem to find them unless I dig through the depths that is NG's Servers

"The fuck is AOL...?" Really got me xD
This really took me back to my phase in life where i was young and scared of Jeff the Killer 💀

This is the kind of content I needed
Growing up with Creepypasta is something I'll cherish forever, even with all the cringe that came alongside it
The cringe makes it better.
@@graymads Oh so much better
"the definitive narration" never heard my stuff described like that, but I wont complain.
Don't be so modest.
you deserve so many more subs
Let's make it happen! I would love to see a collab between him and "dont look at me", as their styles are rather similar.
Here's hoping!
watching this right after the rpg horror video, you really have underrated content and deserve more subs
Thank you! Working on getting it out there but yknow, algorithm :P

Malice Mizer video (which is great) introduced me to your channel and now you post this gem. Subscribed, amazing content
Welcome aboard!
I'm gonna sell my PS2 memory card and name the settings file "Make a creepypasta out of this"
Spoopy
Sacrifice was one of the best of the classics. The Rake deserved to be bigger than he was.
*engagement*
Smile dog (the husky one specifically) still gets my ass if I'm not expecting it upon opening
It's a genuinly creepy image
This was such a good watch. I wonder how much more there is to talk about on this subject or how these actually affected ppl
I never really got into creepypasta but ive listened to countless hours of the no sleep podcast.
Ben Drowened was amazing even though it took 10 years to finish.
Horror died so creepypasta could live

Creepy pasta got me back into writing .
I'm starting my ytb channel and it's so funny to me that we have the same aesthetics lmao
This video is great my bro, I want to see even more
Just means you have good taste, glad you like the video. Let me know when you launch I'd love to see your content!
where's sonic.exe and the tails doll curse?

like I said, they were babies first horror experience and god bless them for that
What a interesting random channel.
Slenderman's phase ended so quickly due to some crazy ass fan girls.
Sad.
