I have become so emotionally invested in these characters that I miss them when not listening. Gonna have to listen to them all over again very soon :-)
I am so grateful for this series. I've been in such a deep depression since my adult daughter died Christmas night. Although every day is different for me and I don't stand depression very long this series of books has kept me smiling it was felt like listening to an old family story.
Love and prayers to you and I know what you are going through and unfortunately this is a pain that never gets easier. Just know that she is still with you everyday and you carry her with you in your heart !! If you ever need to talk you can always message me. Just keep looking for your next smile, remember to stop and smell the flowers. And honestly try to understand that everyone has different ways of grieving don't let anyone tell you that your way is wrong... from one heartbroken mom to another I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers..
I'm so, so sorry. My 18 yr old daughter passed away on the 2nd January, 12 yrs ago, and whilst I can't say you'll get over it, you'll find ways to cope better, and you will smile again at the memories...or cry, but in a different way. You are in my thoughts.

Pepper Dunn, aggravated by bugs is upset even by lady bugs. She is mistaken in her belief that she has been bitten by one. Lady bugs do not bite but those nasty Asian beetles that look very closely like lady bugs do bite. They are often confused with ladybugs. I just don’t want the reputation of our native Ladybugs besmirched.

She irritates me because people say the simplest statements and she said she doesn’t understand and then when they don’t understand her humor, she thinks that they don’t have common sense.

I only found them a week ago I've been on a binge which I'm loving but il regret it once its finished.
Wow these stories keep getting better and better.. Amy keeps these stories so alive and moving. The narrator also does a great job with the voices.
