the producers on this show are so clever, across from Clare Balding is someone Clearly Balding. they play a weird balancing game with the guests. very clever, though.
It is not actually "rather more carbon dioxide" coming out of the volcano. There was a net negative amount of carbon dioxide from the eruption of the volcano.
