You know, looking back on this video I realized that Super Sonic's most powerful feat was fighting and destroying a fourth dimensional God that was literally eating up the timeline, proving that Super Sonic is capable of transcending time periods, and thus is a fourth-dimensional character. And Knuckles knocked him back to base form in just one punch. Knuckles literally punched the god out of someone.
That was actually an outlier, that happened because the developers simply wanted Sonic to collect the Chaos Emeralds all over again, so they just made an excuse to remove them from the beginning of the game. Knuckles hasn't done this since and believe me, he's had plenty of opportunities to do so. Even then, that example you gave sounds like something from Archie Comics, which is an entirely different property all together.
Honestly, this episode is held back wuite a bit for me by the way they composite Knuckles here, specifically that they take the stupidity entirely from his terrible Sonic Boom incarnation. That just isn't Knuckles, it's a less funny Patrick Star who looks like a parade balloon. Oh well, at least the second Sonic movie understood that Knuckles isn't an idiot, time will tell how that portrail is going to effect the way people look at the character.

NO! Knuckles is not a moron! The alternate universe version of him from Sonic Boom is dumb as dirt, but not the main version. To trusting yes, but not dumb. If you are really going to bust out so much lore and info from multiple sources, then why not from the comics where he is capable of strategy and being a leader. As a matter of fact is one. It was even required of him to READ and learn about his people's advance technology and history so that he could properly protect Angel Island ( An entire country with people on it.) Real talk here; I definitely grew up on more Sonic stuff here and thus am a Knuckles fan. Also I do like the notion that hyper Knuckles might have turned the tide here. a lot of people are saying that in the comments. However I did see from the beginning how Donkey Kong had some clear advantages, also when a gorilla that strong gets mad at you, you are certainly in a very tough position. Also the moon event comparison does actually make a lot of sense. It takes a lot more power to knock the actual moon out of orbit, than to destroy a machine that's controlling it. However again I wanted to cheer Knuckles on here but when they went underground, I realized Donkey kong definitely had the advantage. However even though I'm a knuckles fan at heart, I still had fun with this event, so that's cool!
Hyper Knuckles wasn't used because in the first Mario VS Sonic fight, it was established the powerups of both combatant's respective series perfectly counter each other. DK's "Strong Kong" could've countered Hyper Knuckles. That particular detail is why Luigi and Tails only got what was unique to them in their Death Battle.

Not only is Knuckles' personality different in that show, that show was also in a different continuity than most other Sonic the Hedgehog media. Not that it matters, since Knuckles has better feats in the games outside of the Sonic Boom continuity anyway.

Hold on, was Knuckles trying to save Donkey Kong? If so, why did Dk try to make the situation even worse by making sure Knuckles had no change of keeping them on the wall. Edit: I do think Knuckles deserves another chance at Death Battle, because he was kinda done dirty in this one.
Both combatants had a "Weaknesses and Stupidity" section of their respective rundowns. It was also mentioned that the biggest obstacle for Knuckles is his own brain. In terms of intelligence, Knuckles is just barely above DK. Case and point: using his digging ability to launch surprise attacks all while making the ground beneath DK unstable enough to cut a hole open to make him fall to his death. Only two flaws came with that idea. One was the fact a minecart awaited DK. The other was Knuckles didn't account for one of those homing coconuts to blindside him.

Ehh, they just lied. Lied about 30 times, it's ridiculous... They removed invincibility powers because "one cancels out the other as seen in Sonic vs Mario" wow... 90 seconds of invincibility (or far far more), gaining new powers, new speed, and being able to make anyone you touch die instantly is apparently 100% equal to 15 seconds of not taking damage..... and that's it. Knuckles destroys 12 feet thick walls in normal form, DK needs a Rhino helper to break through 12 inch walls in mounted form (aka: not on his own, so it's impossible via deathbattle rules) Plus they lied about DK's abilities. How many more lies do they need to tell before they're gonna close their mouths and get off their knees?
+PaladinGear15 You are actually wrong about the strength feats of the characters. You only used feats shown in GAMEPLAY and none from cutscenes and animated shows. In Donkey Kong Country Returns, after defeating a hand boss (real original Nintendo), Donkey Kong is sent flying into the air and lands down on the moon, a moon that is smaller then the real moon, but a moon nonetheless Removing the invincibility actually makes sense as well. Even with the massive increase in speed and strength, if you cant take damage, then the increase in anything, will not matter. None of the super forms give any new powers, they only increase pre-existing powers.
The only problem I have with the information in this death battle is calling Knuckles stupid. He may get tricked by Eggman, but theres a difference between outright stupidity and brash behavior. In Sonic Boom, while he is definitely stupid, hes not Knuckles. His personality is inconsistent with the majority of other incarnations.
I've read all the comics up until their most recent versions. Knuckles is a smart guy with a short temper. He also just happens to be gullible. in the comics he is a proud fighter and is most definitely not an idiot. Sadly his games have yet to show how great of a character he is.

One of the oldest and wrong Death Battles. Knuckles can knock out Super Sonic who at a low-ball feat is Multiversal. Donkey Kong doesn't compare anywhere to that scale in terms of power. Knuckles would also obviously be way faster and there would be no way Donkey Kong could even keep up close to Knuckles.

I really like this show. Cause even if my fav character dies, you present evidence, why. But this time is different. You just contradicted yourselves. How could you use Knuckles' features from Sonic Boom? Seriously, why? One: Sonic Boom's not canon. It's a "different branch". Knux from Sonic Boom is a different person. If you take it into account, then you should also count Knux from Archie Comics. Two: they drastically nerfed Knux in that show, and you yourselves said in Goku vs Superman 2, that you "look at characters at their maximum potential". He used to be treasure hunter. He used to know several ancient languages. He was not dumb, he believed in people a little too much and was easily gullible. In Sonic Boom, he can't even read... But, even if we assume, he's smart, the question is: Can he damage DK? As you've shown, he's faster and more agile, but can't hit DK harder, than the bomb, that he already survived. Or can he? DK didn't deliver all the force to move the moon by himself. He was flying at significant velocity, since he got there so quickly. So, even if he didn't do a thing there, some force would be applied anyway. So, how hard did he actually punch the moon? Also, Knuckles can use his metal / iron / whatever spiky gloves to punch things. Theese gloves apply all the force in one point as opposed to DK's bare fists. It's like punching someone with a plank vs punching with a spike. You end up with much greater effects. Even assuming, that this is not enough, and DK can withstand Knux' hits, I don't believe, that every part of his body can take such powerful punches. Like every man / animal, he has to have weakpoints. Like back of his head, his face, throat, or under his arms. And since Knux' fighting style is all about hitting things, I don't believe, he doesn't know, where to punch. Also, as it was said before, he's fast enough to reach them. On a different note: Why Knux didn't use that volcanic punch ability? Can lava harm DK or not? Also, that move comes from Sonic Heroes, not from Sonic Boom, and the eruption emits fireballs all over the place. I don't know, if what I presented is enough to make Knux win, and I don't care. All I want is a fair fight. Thanks for your attention.

Buu vs Kirby is the perfect example of both of these. now, not every episode is how I just described and I feel they do get a few right, but still I always tell people "death battle is about entertainment not accuracy that's why even though I disagree and prove them wrong a lot I still enjoy watching them". as far as your question about the lava; people don't realize that the video of the fight isn't the actual fight. it is something put together to put some visual reference to the data. have you ever seen the show deadliest warrior? think of it like that, deadliest warrior simulates what is it? 100 fights? 1000 fights? something like that? anyway and they get the number of victories out of that fight per weapon thus giving them the data on who is more "deadly" and then they put a video of the fight as a visual representation of the data. granted deadliest warrior isn't the most accurate either but never the less I is the same concept. I'm sure the lava punch did come up with their calculations or else they wouldn't have mentioned it but they didn't feel it was important enough to put into the visual fight or maybe they just didn't want to or didn't feel like it.

Even if they didn't use the comics as a source, the game Sonic Adventure Battle 2 has Knuckles using a move called thunder arrow, which is similar to chaos spear for Shadow. I feel like this one might be biased, considering the immense amount of information provided for Donkey Kong. Looking back, I missed a lot more facts about Knuckles. In the show, he is able to stop homing attacks with his bare hands(er gloves), which have been shown to cut through metal and machinery with ease. Not to mention he has been shot out of canons just like DK in the games, and has shown his endurance in the cosmo aliens or whatever(space) saga, taking numerous beatings and attacks, but not tiring and persevering.

NO! Knuckles is not a moron! The alternate universe version of him from Sonic Boom is dumb as dirt, but not the main version. To trusting yes, but not dumb. If you are really going to bust out so much lore and info from multiple sources, then why not from the comics where he is capable of strategy and being a leader. As a matter of fact is one. It was even required of him to READ and learn about his people's advance technology and history so that he could properly protect Angel Island ( An entire country with people on it.) Real talk here; I definitely grew up on more Sonic stuff here and thus am a Knuckles fan. Also I do like the notion that hyper Knuckles might have turned the tide here. a lot of people are saying that in the comments. However I did see from the beginning how Donkey Kong had some clear advantages, also when a gorilla that strong gets mad at you, you are certainly in a very tough position. Also the moon event comparison does actually make a lot of sense. It takes a lot more power to knock the actual moon out of orbit, than to destroy a machine that's controlling it. However again I wanted to cheer Knuckles on here but when they went underground, I realized Donkey kong definitely had the advantage. However even though I'm a knuckles fan at heart, I still had fun with this event, so that's cool!

Hyper Knuckles wasn't used because in the first Mario VS Sonic fight, it was established the powerups of both combatant's respective series perfectly counter each other. DK's "Strong Kong" could've countered Hyper Knuckles. That particular detail is why Luigi and Tails only got what was unique to them in their Death Battle.

Using Sonic Boom as evidence for this Death Battle isn't quite right IMO, Knuckles is written way stupider in Boom compared to everywhere else.
Not only is Knuckles' personality different in that show, that show was also in a different continuity than most other Sonic the Hedgehog media. Not that it matters, since Knuckles has better feats in the games outside of the Sonic Boom continuity anyway.

Both combatants had a "Weaknesses and Stupidity" section of their respective rundowns. It was also mentioned that the biggest obstacle for Knuckles is his own brain. In terms of intelligence, Knuckles is just barely above DK. Case and point: using his digging ability to launch surprise attacks all while making the ground beneath DK unstable enough to cut a hole open to make him fall to his death. Only two flaws came with that idea. One was the fact a minecart awaited DK. The other was Knuckles didn't account for one of those homing coconuts to blindside him.

They removed invincibility powers because "one cancels out the other as seen in Sonic vs Mario" wow... 90 seconds of invincibility (or far far more), gaining new powers, new speed, and being able to make anyone you touch die instantly is apparently 100% equal to 15 seconds of not taking damage..... and that's it.
Knuckles destroys 12 feet thick walls in normal form, DK needs a Rhino helper to break through 12 inch walls in mounted form (aka: not on his own, so it's impossible via deathbattle rules)
Plus they lied about DK's abilities.

You are actually wrong about the strength feats of the characters. You only used feats shown in GAMEPLAY and none from cutscenes and animated shows. In Donkey Kong Country Returns, after defeating a hand boss (real original Nintendo), Donkey Kong is sent flying into the air and lands down on the moon, a moon that is smaller then the real moon, but a moon nonetheless
Removing the invincibility actually makes sense as well. Even with the massive increase in speed and strength, if you cant take damage, then the increase in anything, will not matter. None of the super forms give any new powers, they only increase pre-existing powers.
Super Knuckles, Hyper Knuckles. They're both canon.
And Knuckles is far smarter than Donkey Kong.

The only problem I have with the information in this death battle is calling Knuckles stupid. He may get tricked by Eggman, but theres a difference between outright stupidity and brash behavior.
In Sonic Boom, while he is definitely stupid, hes not Knuckles. His personality is inconsistent with the majority of other incarnations.

One of the oldest and wrong Death Battles. Knuckles can knock out Super Sonic who at a low-ball feat is Multiversal. Donkey Kong doesn't compare anywhere to that scale in terms of power. Knuckles would also obviously be way faster and there would be no way Donkey Kong could even keep up close to Knuckles.

I really like this show. Cause even if my fav character dies, you present evidence, why. But this time is different. You just contradicted yourselves. How could you use Knuckles' features from Sonic Boom? Seriously, why? One: Sonic Boom's not canon. It's a "different branch". Knux from Sonic Boom is a different person. If you take it into account, then you should also count Knux from Archie Comics. Two: they drastically nerfed Knux in that show, and you yourselves said in Goku vs Superman 2, that you "look at characters at their maximum potential". He used to be treasure hunter. He used to know several ancient languages. He was not dumb, he believed in people a little too much and was easily gullible. In Sonic Boom, he can't even read...
But, even if we assume, he's smart, the question is: Can he damage DK? As you've shown, he's faster and more agile, but can't hit DK harder, than the bomb, that he already survived.
Or can he?
DK didn't deliver all the force to move the moon by himself. He was flying at significant velocity, since he got there so quickly. So, even if he didn't do a thing there, some force would be applied anyway. So, how hard did he actually punch the moon?
Also, Knuckles can use his metal / iron / whatever spiky gloves to punch things. Theese gloves apply all the force in one point as opposed to DK's bare fists. It's like punching someone with a plank vs punching with a spike. You end up with much greater effects.
Even assuming, that this is not enough, and DK can withstand Knux' hits, I don't believe, that every part of his body can take such powerful punches. Like every man / animal, he has to have weakpoints. Like back of his head, his face, throat, or under his arms. And since Knux' fighting style is all about hitting things, I don't believe, he doesn't know, where to punch. Also, as it was said before, he's fast enough to reach them.
On a different note: Why Knux didn't use that volcanic punch ability? Can lava harm DK or not? Also, that move comes from Sonic Heroes, not from Sonic Boom, and the eruption emits fireballs all over the place.
I don't know, if what I presented is enough to make Knux win, and I don't care. All I want is a fair fight. Thanks for your attention.

+Scout Used Bonk! well death battle has gotten plenty of results wrong before. they present "evidence" its true but usually this is half assed poorly researched evidence that if you would go deeper you would see how its wrong. also death battle has a tendency to like to choose the "funny", "shocking" and "controversial" results instead of accurate, reliable results. Buu vs Kirby is the perfect example of both of these. now, not every episode is how I just described and I feel they do get a few right, but still I always tell people "death battle is about entertainment not accuracy that's why even though I disagree and prove them wrong a lot I still enjoy watching them". as far as your question about the lava; people don't realize that the video of the fight isn't the actual fight. it is something put together to put some visual reference to the data. have you ever seen the show deadliest warrior? think of it like that, deadliest warrior simulates what is it? 100 fights? 1000 fights? something like that? anyway and they get the number of victories out of that fight per weapon thus giving them the data on who is more "deadly" and then they put a video of the fight as a visual representation of the data. granted deadliest warrior isn't the most accurate either but never the less I is the same concept. I'm sure the lava punch did come up with their calculations or else they wouldn't have mentioned it but they didn't feel it was important enough to put into the visual fight or maybe they just didn't want to or didn't feel like it.

I feel like this one might be biased, considering the immense amount of information provided for Donkey Kong.
Looking back, I missed a lot more facts about Knuckles.
In the show, he is able to stop homing attacks with his bare hands(er gloves), which have been shown to cut through metal and machinery with ease. Not to mention he has been shot out of canons just like DK in the games, and has shown his endurance in the cosmo aliens or whatever(space) saga, taking numerous beatings and attacks, but not tiring and persevering.
