Sarawak laksa is one of the late Anthony bourdain favourite. He even said it was breakfast for god.

Sarawak Laksa is the best Laksa in the world for me. Try to eat it with a glass of Kopi-O peng. After a bite of the laksa, wash down the flavor from your mouth with sip of the kopi-O peng and try another sip of the gravy again to feel the flavors all over again. Please welcome to visit Kuching City in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia when you can and try all sorts of local delicacies like Sarawak Laksa, kolok Mee, Kueh Chap and much much more...Kuching Sarawak is on Unesco's creative cities list for gastronomy.

I tried all type of laksa and tbh Sarawak Laksa is no.1 for me its very different, addictive spice and the noodles are well blend with the taste itself.

The late Anthony Bourdain described Sarawak Laksa as "breakfast of the gods" and there's a TH-cam video of him in enjoying a bowl of laksa in Kuching. May he rest in peace.

Ang ku kueh is from Hokkien dialect word which means ang ku - red tortoise/turtle in terms of kuih. Like what iChang said, it means longevity because tortoise/turtle is symbol of long age. We need ang ku kueh for auspicious festival such as celebrate a month old baby, honoring the Jade Emperor and others.

This is so much fun. Basically what Malaysian do whenever they are abroad. In the UK, mostly it will joined together with Malaysian Games (organised by students) and also with lots of food stalls!

Not sure if they have it in Malaysia, but if you're in Singapore, you can get ang ku kueh with durian or cempedak filling.
