Can we just take a second to just take that in. Legendary builder. highest on the pecking order imo. Legendary Racer. Again highest on the pecking order imo. And their daughter's are currently making Legendary status. Both beautiful and brilliant and down to earth. And then a story to boot from John. Yeah its gonna be hard to find a better video soon. Thank you Peak family.
I had never heard force talk about his intermediate days, before he was accomplished, in such detail, so was kind of bummed when the stories got interrupted. I certainly like that this is a sport where women are treated as equal competitors, because it reminds me of the freedoms I enjoy as a western man., that some unfortunates lack simply because of where they live.
10:43. When John friggin Force walks up behind your race car after your burnout.... to watch your run... that's kinda what I'm figuring heaven looks like🏆😇💪💪😎
What an awesome video, warming up a funny car, running a 216 in a car you just had to push in full gear, a ton of really interesting lovely people and the chat with Sarah from Mopar Hotrod Shop channel was great - this is why I haven't watched Netflix or Prime in forever 🤗
Pretty cool hanging with John and Brittany Force. I've seen John run dozens of times at the old Raceway Park in Englishtown over the decades. From '76 to '82, was there for the whole weekend during the Summernatiols. I almost got run over by him, bringing Ashley's funny car back to their pit in the early two thousands. Watched Brittany and Courtney run Top Alcohol that weekend as well.
Hey Alex, liked your guard dog, really enjoy the videos. always like to hear John force that was real nice of him to let you warm up his car, I think your dad enjoyed talking to him. thanks Alex!!
ive meet him before when my dad worked at concept trailers in fresno ca he had them build a luxury race tailer humblest guy ever and so nice and just felt like i knew him forever glad hes still racing hes such a legend
I was there I saw that 55 run I also went by your tent where the Camaro was right next to it I'll tell you what that 55 was absolutely killer it deserves a beautiful paint job but that thing ran like a bat out of hell
So Boss! It’s truly inspiring to witness your career journey unfold. I fondly recall capturing moments of your journey years ago at Cordova with Badmaro, and more recently at Byron with the 55. Your unwavering enthusiasm and joy remain unchanged, and I believe your future holds nothing but brilliance! 🌟
Awesome watching you grow and shine in your life! Alex, you are a true bad ass human and a lot of us are jealous of you for what you get to do in your day! And I assume that your dad is the same Dennis Taylor that ran TA/FC?
Don't think so, Alexs dad has an story more of being an builder (hotrods, showcars) than a racer. Dad doing some nostalgic racing got an very young Alex involved and then Alex as an teenager met the DragWeek world. She haven't looked back since.
looking like a very fun weekend. Hope to see you in Iowa for Sick Summer with my granddaughter. Took her last summer for her first drag racing event and she had a blast.
3 videos in 3 days, Let's Go! I met John, Ashley and Brittany all at the same time at NHRA. And I met Alex on the Hot Rod Power Tour a few summers back😎👍
I graduated in '67 too. Would've gladly taken that '54 Chevy 3-tree six cos I had a '53 Dodge Hydra-Matic (look *that* one up, since modern reference works don't show Mopar ever either purchasing that trans. from GM or mfg. their own ver. post WWII.) Welll, it was Mom's ride, really. I got my first of many street motorcycles when I turned 16: a 1965 Yamaha 80. (Don't laugh; no High Schooler could afford a Triumph or BSA, much less an Indian or Harley. It was a state-of-the-art machine for the time.)😛
Just left 66 . Was with my son by your pit . Wanted to get a pic with you but didn't want to bug . Will see at sick summer in a few weeks hopefully at Byron.
Nitro experience is one of the best things you can add to your resume. But be aware, most have no idea what that means! The real fun is in the timing of a nitro engine. Most builders want a slightly retarded timing, so the piston is moving down when the spark is applied. Otherwise, you will cause the pistons to break, spark plug cores will separate, and many other issues can be created. Your resume now includes places and experiences beyond the average dream, but this is only a start for you! Keep driving forward!
I think some cool crossover content could be you teaching Brittany Force to make some passes in the 55. You appear to be about the same size so she should fit relatively easy in your car. I know TF is a much faster ride, but I think it would make for some good times and great video's.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Saw this coming........Alex has all the credentials , and will be a super star in Drag Racing......all her upbringing has led to this future..........
I would absolutely soil myself if I got the chance to warm up John Force's car. I have been a John Force fan since as far back as I can remember and I'm almost 58.
Call silly but dogs at drag strip can be good for their future hearing. I never miss Taylor and Lucky and you and your father and I'm sure your mother is a team to be recond with. Keep on keeping on

John is on video for decades talking about childhood, trucking and 70's racing. Good stuff - not hard to find.

How cool that John Force came to the line to watch you run.
I see you have a total seal sticker on the 55! I've learned a lot watching Lake Speed Jr!
How cool Alex and Dennis to meet and talk with John Force 🤩
Good presentation and I think you guys are having too much fun…😄👍👍

Respect for your whole camp
Just left 66 . Was with my son by your pit . Wanted to get a pic with you but didn't want to bug . Will see at sick summer in a few weeks hopefully at Byron.
Why manually shifting? It'd be much safer to keep that right hand on the parachute lever as the car goes down the track.

Great video.. any chance of you going to an assisted shifter?
Great drag racing family/friends.
You can tell Alex had a amazing day. You never know she may be the next female funny car driver on John Force racing? 😁👍👍

Could you imagine if the person who bought Alex’s 55 Chevy new back then, found out that it’s a drag racer now doing 200mph passes now in 2024 !!!
wow megan! what a good job on the video! so professional!!
Great peddle on the first run, second was straightest ever.
That's so cool that you got the opportunity to fire it up , how many people can say that !!!!!
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Saw this coming........Alex has all the credentials , and will be a super star in Drag Racing......all her upbringing has led to this future..........
Thanks again great ride and video,
🏁Enjoyed!!!!!🏁
Awesome day for you and your dad.

I would absolutely soil myself if I got the chance to warm up John Force's car. I have been a John Force fan since as far back as I can remember and I'm almost 58.
I'm not sure what sounds better, throttle wacks or when it's switched over to nitro
I smell a new Force Driver on the Horizen . Wait n See. 👍✌
This girl has it going on for sure!!!✊
I would love to see Alex run a funny car down the track.
15:40 Bro what were those last two times? You and the funny car????
Alex' 2rd run was 6.76 216mph according to the SicktheMag site.
Call silly but dogs at drag strip can be good for their future hearing. I never miss Taylor and Lucky and you and your father and I'm sure your mother is a team to be recond with. Keep on keeping on

What an honor, Alex The John Force family must think very highly of you Alex Taylor , so what do you think Alex are you ready to take that funny car for a rip?
Turbo car is not supposed to surge like a blower car! You've got a fueling issue.
hey Alex, please use background music @ prince, rush and metric
You look good sitting in the funny car
Firing up John Force’s funny car. Doesn’t get any better than that. At least until you start driving for him
Did John say you brake you bought it lol
