Also, Parker Cannon probably has the best pitch accuracy of any vocalist in this genre. He's just lazy here, not really singing all the time and looking a bit bored at points. I get your point, but we're allowed to criticise someone for not being able to do something we can only dream of doing: it's the founding belief of all film critics. If he really struggles to keep his performances good when doing something like Warped Tour, maybe it's too much for him.

I'm so confused by people hating on the vocals, have you ever heard your voice recorded in a live situation like this? I bet he sounded amazing in the moment, this is so solid. Most pop punk singers get the crowd to sing 70% of the lyrics because it's so taxing on their voice and he does it ALL!
Agree my man. It’s still crazy that in 2021 vocals are still getting hate , maybe one day they won’t . As a musician myself I’ve gone through doubts of my own voice , but when the crowd sings your own song back at you, there’s no greater feeling , and your voice really doesn’t matter at the end of the day when the crowd are singing ❤️

Finally gonna see them on their own headlining tour this year. My first time seeing them was at a festival I was there for The Used but this band blew me away that day I had never heard of The Story so Far and fell in love.
His vocals are on point. Compared to the heat, touring,and yell singing (REAL HARD TO DO) and moving around as a front man, this is cool.

@@nathanblackmon8672 Yeah seems like anytime he doesn't make something it's because he's out of breath. Empty Space is on point. It's not really pitchy at all which is impressive in itself he's singing in uncomfortable ranges the whole time. Maybe even a little more bass in the EQ could have rounded it more but.. eh. It's impressive.

I had to get surgery(the Nuss bar procedure to be exact)as it was affecting my lung capacity. Nearly 20 years later I'm doing well, and while the PE will never fully go away, it's so much better than before. If you're in the clear then embrace it! Before my surgery in 8th grade I was mocked relentlessly. It sucked.

Matt Holmes depends on the show, this is warped tour, the sets are pretty short so they just play popular songs, if they were given an hour I'm sure they would play older stuff (they played high regard earlier this year at a longer gig)
Its Warped tour, so the sets are 1/3rd of an actual gig on a tour for TSSF. They still play daughters at their shows from time to time!

Sometimes it isnt all about the vocals, man. In this scene its more about feeling the music and its energy. I saw them live in Brazil and it was dope. I mean he goes all out every time. Also, he yells more than sings cause TSSF is more like a hardcore driven pop-punk.
