on the whole 'color' thing, my favorite quote is "never make fun of someone with an accent, it means they know at least one more language than you" I happen to enjoy your accent and how you talk, also I think your style is flawless.

But when you hear another person's accent, you say "ZOMG KATTVALK'S ACCENT IS BETTER THAN URS!!1!1!11!!!!"
That makes no sense, having an accent doesn't mean you speak multiple languages and making fun of one doesn't mean you don't. For example, I hate the British accent but they're still speaking English, and I'm bilingual. I like Kats accent though, I feel like people don't acknowledge that it's not her first language. And she's super advanced at it, I think the only thing she does mispronounce is color. And tbh I'd never noticed that anyway. In my opinion, if you know that she's saying "color", which they obviously do, does it really matter if she isn't saying it 100% right?

Lol poor Marie! I love your lilting voice and pronunciation. I find your videos so calming and enjoyable to watch, and your voice and the tones you speak in is a big part of that! I'm glad the negative comments don't get you down too much, but I am leaving this one just to add my voice to the positive ones because you ARE "osom" LOL
I really loved the collars you used in this video.
I think most of the comments are from people who didn't know that you aren't a native speaker. Would like to hear them speaking another than their mother tongue. I think they won't be any better. I think that these little “mistakes“ make it personal an sympathetic. I love watching your videos to calm down after a long day of work!

People who make fun of the way someone speaks are just so dumb. Not everybody in the world speak engish as native language, geniuses. I'm always so impressed when I hear someone trying to learn and speak in other language cause I try myself and I know how hard it is. Natural english speakers shoud go on some f.. vacation where nobody can understand them and see who's gonna laugh this time.

The English language is really hard. It was also my second language. Spanish was my first so I understand the accent. I got made fun of a lot because of my accent. Anyways I found this comment really funny lol

Some people don't understand that people exist in other parts of the world. They look and sound different and they are NO LESS of a human because of that. I've been watching your channel for a very long time and have always been super impressed, inspired and in love by your style. Your accent relaxes me; you are very much one of my favorite TH-camrs and I get seriously steamed when I see genuine people working their butts off on TH-cam get rude comments. i actually really like this whole explorer concept you have! its like a small little story from only drawings you do and its really fun to see stories in a different way like this! its almost like your accidentally making a whole book already and these little pieces are concepts or even pages straight from the book! its really cute, keep it up!!!

I’ll be honest, when I was new to your channel (3-4 months ago) it took me a while to get use to your voice but now I find it so soothing and unique!
It never bothered me to the point I’d write comments and harass you over your accent though, those comments are uncalled for

I moved to Sweden to teach art this year and at the end of the year unfilled some time in some of my classes showing them some of my favourite TH-camrs. They were so happy to see I liked someone who was Swedish but my younger students complained you didn't do videos in SWEDISH. (Mostly because it was the end of the school year at an English school and they wanted to relax and be a little lazy.) Any who! You are lovely.

And as a non native English speaker, I can totally relate to the ''pronunciation problem'' (that isn't a problem at all, actually) . You don't need to listen what they say about you. Your accent adds more charm, along with your sweet personality.
The people who feel the need to make petty little comments like that are clearly too small minded for their own good. But I love how you address it with your brilliant sense of humor! Those people annoyed by how you pronounce a word, ask them to say something in Swedish and then lets laugh and throw insults at them. They seem to forget that not everyone has English as their first language. I love your accent and tone of speaking!

I love the art videos of many but your talent and style is BY FAR beyond many of your peers who seem to be much more "popular" and I kept like asking myself , ok this makes no sense , whyy? You have such a developed and stylish and original style when drawing it's amazing. The comments you showed made me realize that it's maybe just the fact you're not a native English speaker which is RIDICULOUS. I admire your ability to draw without having to look at something. I've never reached that level. I just set up pictures of various creatures and combine parts of them, but I always have to have a visual to look at.

You're my favorite TH-cam artist to watch. Your voice is very relaxing, and I like to hear what you think of the Scrawlrbox supplies. The artists at my house had a hard time with the limited color palette of the May box. I'm curious to know what you think of the June box, and it's glue stick. I'm not sure what to do with the glue yet, but am thinking scissors will be needed. Your art is super cute, and I love your little mushroom rodents.
