Awesome tutorial! Thank you! 🙏🏻 Is there a way to do something similar but have vertical videos in the carousel instead of a photo icon? I’m trying to create a video carousel with a light box feature in Squarespace! 😅
At this time Squarespace doesn’t have any method for having videos in a carousel. So it would have to be completely coded from scratch. If you want to send me an email with a link to what you are trying to accomplish I can let you know if it is possible and how much it would be
Crushed it. Question: what about showing adjacent slides in mobile view? Noticed that wasn't done. Can you add CSS for that? Appreciate the video and help!
@@SEWebDesign I want this also. openai website is filled with carousel. I really want the mobile version corousel cards to be smaller so it can show adjacent slides and i can swipe with my finger. can you post the code on your website?
Thank you this has been helpful. I also purchased the lightbox. I notice the list title font is not as thick as apple. i kept on trying different css but wouldn't change. also, do you have a video on how to do apple table? you know the table that's on the bottom of the page of every product.
It all depends on your font settings. You will need to use a font that has thicker font weights for your site headings. I don’t have a video on apple tables. Tables are tough in Squarespace. Pretty much the only way to do them is to code them from scratch in a code block.
@@SEWebDesign Thank you. I ended up changing the font weight for the entire website. my lightbox show space at the top but no space at the bottom. also X button to close the lightbox is inside the padding when I make the padding 1px, the X disappears. do you know how to make X visible inside the text window? I created the page which has content of the lightbox, background color white. but lightbox border padding is permanently white. I tried 5 different way to adjust this on sqaurespace css but no success. also 2. lightbox text always has space at the top but no space at the bottom. do you have a css how to fix this?
This tutorial is excellent. Thanks, Chris. As a self-taught web developer with over 10 years of experience, it was validating to see that many of my approaches were similar to the ones used here. 🙂 ... But, of course, I also learned some new techniques I can use in our upcoming projects. Once again, thanks.
Chris, thankyou SO much! What a great resource. Delighted to have found you.

Why is the part of the cover list item button not working?
It’s hard to say. If you send me a link to your site via my contact form I can take a quick look
