Bill has a style that is incredibly unique. No one on earth riffs like he does. The slinky riffing definitely gives me a Swansong/Heartwork vibe, kind of like No Love Lost slinky. His tone is to die for. Jeff’s voice has held up well and sounds exceptionally nasty. When the both harmonize vocally it’s a complete eargasm for me…awesome song.

“So Accessible” though? A masterpiece for sure. And of course all things being relative, would only consider Heartwork “accessible” when compared to,….ummmm, maybe Harmony Corruption, ummmm, I don’t know, something even more extreme which is quite difficult to define concretely. They even said that they have never cared whether their work was embraced by the masses or not, and in fact have stated that massive record sales are a sign of a compromised work of art.

      The Book of Truth
When things were at their very worst:
2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy.

Beaware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again.
After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way.
Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet
      - will seem to rise from the dead
      - will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one.
One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist.
Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent.

We were so stoned that we didn't even realize that Ken Owen was upstairs and we could have went up there to meet him. I really wish that I could go back in time and rewind that night and try it again. Damn...I think I saw Bill Steer outside of the concert venue afterwards and wanted to say something to him but I wasn't sure if it was him or not... Pretty sure it was.

it was still a great time seeing Carcass live after listening to them all of those years. I brought my friend along with me that got into it right when I did back then. I bought the Reek of Putrefaction record within the first year of its release and he bought Symphonies of Sickness within the first year of its release. We were really into Carcass, even in the Necroticism days. I still remember taking the bus down to The Warehouse Records next to the Lakewood mall and bought it within its first week of release. I brought my Sony Walkman with me so I can listen to it on the bus ride back.

I obviously love the sound of Carcass and I'm glad they managed to pull off an album that can stand up to Surgical Steel - that's a huge task and they're able to make it seem easy.
But I've been noticing Napalm's output of animated music videos recently. Why does every larger band with a contract at Napalm get one of these videos in the exact same style, obviously from the same artist (or artists)? They seem interchangeable and "one-fits-all"... Is this just to please the algorithm and give us something to look at / glue our eyes to the screen?
