In this video I’ll be showing you how to make this super cute Puff Stitch cross body bag.

-6mm crochet hook
-700g T-shirt yarn
-DK yarn
-Ring
-Chain
-Bag lock
-Scissors
-Darning needle
This bag is approx 8in wide, 6in high, 2.5in deep

So I'm trying to make this, the tutorial is amazing but I'm having some issues,
I'm using the exact same yarn but cannot get a 6mm hook to work to had to use a 7mm. Can I ask what hooks you use as you seem to have longer gap between the hook and the plastic handle which would help
I kept my gauge loose but the bag is still very stiff whereas yours looks softer if that makes sense?
Also it's very heavy! Is that normal?
Otherwise for a first attempt I think its not so bad 😊

Lovely pattern! I just don’t understand which stitch to put the puff stitches in, I know you said the first one goes in the base stitch and the 2nd puff stitch goes in the stitch below the first puff stitch but I can’t determine which stitch is the one “below”.

at 8.40 on your last sc chain meaning the 7 last puff stitch did you sc on the 3rd chain? the 3 chains to turn?

I used the ‘Hooked Zpagetti Recycled Chunky Cotton T-Shirt yarn’ on amazon! I believe the recommended hook size is 12-15mm
Love this however this is the first time I’ve seen the puff stitch. Seems like this will be hard on the hands with such thick yarn. I really want to make this.
It can be quite hard on the hands due to the thickness of the yarn but just take regular breaks and stretch out your hands and you’ll be good! Definitely worth it in the end☺️
@@xStitchesAndCo I tried with the 6 mm and it was hard on my hands. Ended up switching to the elusive 7 mm hook and it worked up way easier. It’s nice if you got the rarer hook sizes. My puff stitches are more linear and less puffy though.
