Swift Tutorial: How to integrate Firebase Push Notification | FCM | Part 1

- In this tutorial we will see how to integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging push notifications in our iOS Swift project.
It is pretty straight forward and easy to implement however it requires a paid developer Apple account.

For some reason the "Send your first message" button on the firebase website is not working, it's like it's an image instead of a button. Any ideas what the issue could be?

Hi, I am afraid you can not. In order for push notifications to work, you will need a certificate from apple. This certificate is only available if you have a paid developer account.

I think you're missing a pod or the "import" at the start of your file.
Not enough description. Good effort though.
If you don't want to fall asleep. Skip a lot and probably just go to part 2.. The instructions here to set things up are mostly in firebase already. The only important thing in part 1 is from 18:16 to 21:30, the rest you'll find in firebase documentation. Too much unnecessary talking..
mine stuck in connecting to firebase server (12:57 in your tutorial)
You will have to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Kind of my way to keep talking in front of camera. Some people like it some dont. You can mute the video while going through the tutorial :)
Your programming skills are great but you talk too much non-sense that it gets too annoying to listen to, especially when trying to replay some parts of the video. Try to minimise the unnecessary talk, go straight to the point, and save your viewers and yourself some golden time.
