Definitely similar upbringing as an African Boy also seeing a trend here with driven people and their environment or exposure maybe! I had a similar experience growing up on the Estate between Peckham and Dulwich, also had a adventure playground.Same kinda friendships and can fully relate. Word to staying home with your parents, that helped a lot. Also really related to the KFC ting hahaha - Very inspiring to hear👏👏👏
Great interview! Mark has such a inspiring story and speaks a lot of sense. I'm actually interviewing him for a documentary this weekend. Having followed him for many years, I can't wait!
From sitting down and speaking with Mark (slidercuts) he comes across as a very humble guy, so I highly doubt that his shop is like that and that he would allow people to treat customers badly. He does come across like he’s very customer focused, no matter who the customer is. He’s also very engaged in the community so if you commented on his post it’s likely he would respond. He does a lot of barber scenario situations on his instagram. Check it out. Hope that helps

For those that go to the shop, is it them ones where they only care about your hair if you're a celebrity.
