Hi Troy! I won't pretend to be a math wiz, but when I add 24 and 10 together, I don't get 35 either 😆 How sad the business closed down, but you had a few cool finds at least! Liked and shared, thanks for sharing!
I got 6 estate sales in Dickinson today :) going to be so nice to get back into the game after that house fire I had. House only needs flooring in half the house so I'm only at 50% for ebay. Went from 8k listing down to 3k :(
I keep an eye out for the fans with colored blades. Some of those do really well. I seen there was a blue one. I would have checked into it. Hope you have a good day today and a better day tomorrow. God’s blessings to you and yours!!
The beginning of this video, with the crunching footsteps on snow--I swear the sound alone made me feel cold. 🥶 Cool specials board at the end, though.
Yeah, prices weee crazy. I liked a lamp downstairs also and a few other things but they were asking basically resale value. The lady running the thing was the realtor, so she was shooting for top dollar
your funny, usually where im from the estates have good stuff but get cleared out in minutes. left overs are worth hundreds but not guaranteed to be there. going early cant hurt.
Yeah. Early is better for sure. Though sometimes hard to get excited when you have a good feeling of what will be there, especially on listings with tons of photos
@@MountainManTreasure most estates dont list the most valuable stuff because they think its trash. But its the trash that's worth the most. So if you see a dumpster in front the the estate before the sale starts you better dive in there. Found a junk chest full of ephemera from the 1910s to the 50s worth about $1500 and sold like hot cakes. Found a rare poster rolling around on the ground worth about $500 and up(kept it). They thought it was trash. Same sale, real pearl necklaces with gold clasps. They thought they were fake. One dollar each. Long story short, you find stuff just by going and not just assuming its going to be bad. Even known to be expensive estate companies sometimes missprice or under value certain items. Another example, sealed vintage items, they think they are outdated so it goes cheap. As a reseller we know sealed vintage items are almost one of a kind and sells for hundreds. For example ive found sealed video games, nos diecast 1960s cars, walkie talkies, vhs dvd blue ray players, board games, 1930s in box boxing gloves, big E levi, racing suits from the 70s, countless sealed vintage toys.
@@MountainManTreasure Yes but there are a lot of wannabe estate dealers that really don't know the value of things. I call it faking it to make it. I'm in California where houses have been around since 1890 and old dumb money. Other areas are too knowledgeable about antiques. Ive noticed that about Texas everyone is hustling opening antique stores in front of their garages
Oh, I pick up plenty of ungrailish things. If I passed something, let me - and other viewers - know! (Often what I pass, if I know it, is based on size or hassle shipping, sell-thru rates, cost, etc)

Still cool to see the old Odd Fellows lodge. Thanks for sharing with us Troy

I’m not sure there’s anybody more capable of bouncing back than you!!
I enjoy your videos drive safe in all that snow
Thanks for the video

Yeah I looked at that. It was a cheapo unfortunately.
Hi, that sign was super great
That's they way it goes sometimes. :)
They can't all be winners. Appreciate you showing us the good, bad, and ugly of sourcing!
Interesting place and estate sale.

Oh my, I felt bad you were ignored 🤨 but the building is fabulous. Cheers
Hey Troy. Haven't been on in awhile. Hope you're doing good
Hey Troy That lady needs some math lessons...LOL. The sign was cool. ☮💜
❤
I think that lady at the end took math at my high school.
Do not rely only on sleepybay. You never know eBay will wake up and you get normal sales
Yeah been up and down for sure!
I saw three square point of sales systems early in your video depending on the price those could have been a good pick up

3:50 your biggest fan?

@johannadam8134 sounds like our few estate companies here are more discerning!

Eh, sadly, they're not all winners. Hope the sign sells. It's cool.
You passed up thousands of dollars of goodies... that many resellers would have picked up. Everything cannot be a grail!

You will do better next time😉
Not every stop is a winner. At least I kind of expected it going in so wasn’t surprised
