Do watch Chaahat and Guddu as well!

Melanie, here's something interesting for you and other SRK fans. Two SRK movies rarely mentioned are- 1. In Which Annies Gives It Those Ones (1989) This was actually the first film he made an appearance in. He has small role of a gay college senior. The movie is freely available on youtube. I personally love this movie. An underrated Indian art cinema gem about college life. 2. Ahamak (Idiot) Directed by legendary director Mani Kaul, the movie is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Idiot. The movie was shown on national television in 1991 as a mini-series and then it was released in 1992 at New York Film Festival. This movie never got a commercial release.
Ye lamhe Judai Ke.....Written by Anirudh Tiwari, this film actually had done most of the filming in 1994, but was not released until 9 April 2004! It was an incomplete film with original name as "JAADOO" that stopped shooting in 1994 ((can be identified by looks and hairstyle)) but was revived with different body doubles standing in during scenes that were shot in 2004 to finish the movie, instead of the lead actors Khan and Tandon who refused to even dub for their parts. It was re-shot in 2004 with a different title and different actors altering the storyline completely.The trade experts said the film was just being released for the sake of making a quick buck. Upon release the film received scathing reviews from critics and was a huge disaster at the box office.
Melanie, you should watch Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, if you haven't yet. I am not a big fan of SRK, but these are two of his earliest films that I absolutely love.
