Are you a fan of my training style, but can’t travel to Kentucky to see me in person? No worries! I offer an awesome online dog training course, which includes access to an array of exclusive videos and content, personalized coaching, journaling, and in-depth mentoring and evaluation by yours truly! If you just need some an advice or have a couple questions you need answered, I also offer professional consulting by the hour.
Both of these great services can be found here: www.kentuckycanine.com
Thank you all for your remarkable support over the years! I cannot express enough how grateful I am for your appreciation and patronage of this channel, my training style, and my kennel. Always remember, it’s a great day for a puppy-sized adventure!

Beyond grateful for this channel. Stonnies pure joy for black labs and his type of training has been a godsend for understanding my puppy. My puppy Willa and I love watching this like Netflix, the obstacle course, puppy adventures and the all of the “fine animals”.
Shout out to the excellent “camera man” work too!
I told my daughter if I could “make a wish” it would be to come to Kentucky for a puppy adventure vacation. Stonnie’s the GOAT!

I do love that you brought up the truth. Be honest, be objective. So true. You have the advantage of a dog playground at your doorstep and the day to spend adventuring with them. That time you commit allows you to develope a good relationship where the dog knows what's expected. Like all things you get out of it what you put into it.

Hi Stoney! Love your videos! I hired a board and train because I am the not so young handler of a 65lb Australian Labradoodle. The trainers nailed down basic obedience, then proofed it in various distracting locations and followed that with some classes involving me. That was two years ago and it is the best thing I ever did. We would not be where we are without them. Having had dogs in the past I know that, hard as I might try, I simply don’t have the skill or more importantly the persistence. Now with the heavy lifting (your words) done by professionals I am free to take it from there. And we have…road tripping 10 states and counting✌️🐾

The comment at the end about a dog behaving differently for different people is very evident at our house. When on a leash our gsd rescue will walk beside me like the best behaved dog one could wish for. The big man in our house plays with the dog a lot, and when he puts the dog on a leash it jumps around and pulls, and acts up until he gets frustrated. We trade dogs we are walking, and as soon as my hand touches the leash the gsd transforms into a perfect walking dog again. It's amazing to us. I think it might be because he knows I will end the walk if he misbehaves. Just following your teaching. It is so much easier than fussing at a dog. Attitude makes a lot of difference, as you teach us. I am very grateful for your videos and your gift to teach. A calm dog on a leash is a delight. And knowing a dog can be trusted on adventures just adds to the fun for all. I learn from every video you make. Thank you again

Uncle Stonnie, I always appreciate the subtle human-in-lieu--of-dog references you throw in when discussing good manners in social interactions. Parents and teachers should take note like theirs did just a generation ago.

From my own personal experience with how elastic a dogs mind and relationship with a handler. My sister has a Springer Spaniel pulls everyone like a freight train, will ignore you and do whatever he wants. I've put in hundreds if not thousands of hours and he walks great on the lead, understands commands in multiple languages/whistles/hand signals and we have a great relationship. We get out what we put in.

Hi Stonnie! I'm a fan of Your's training style, but I'd like to see more vids with such hard to train breeds like spitz. I've got west siberian laika so I'm very interesting what's Your idea to manage such type of dog breed?

I couldn't agree more. My dog won't jump on me unless I ask him to. But, certain people he jumps all over. I'm not inclined to stop him when the people can't follow simple directions.... 20 reps and some people refuse to stop pushing and shouting, flapping their arms all over I feel like they are asking for it! Lol. How hard is it to use a firm no and stop sign han

Dogs are the same as a person. Cannot expect yourself to be a olympic level athlete with a university degree in a month if you haven't even got your highschool deploma and are completely out of shape. Same thing with dogs, its all small small steps people worry so much about the macro's but no one wants to focus on all the hundreds of micros that build that macro.

You tube ads are extremely annoying and interrupt your message. We can only get a piece of your video, then the ads start, and we can’t return to your video. If we try to return to your video, it goes back to the beginning.

Sign up for TH-cam premium and you won’t have to see the ads. TH-cam is going to get paid one way or another; you can either pay with a few dollars or you can pay with your time.
