This boy group was created by Hive, the BTS agency. Koreans write lyrics, compose music, make music videos, and do styling, just like the Kpop training system. But why is it still called jpop?
please be sure to find out why the group & team debuted at Hive and who created the song and choreography. Hive, a Korean music agency, selected Japanese members through auditions to target the Japanese market with Korean music, choreography, and training system. Is this J-pop? You may not be able to change the mind of the channel operator, but if you think so, please don't run an official K-pop channel. This is my advice as a Korean journalist and someone who knows Hive well.
Distorting kpop into jpop may resonate with Japanese subscribers, but it hurts kpop creators and many kpop fans.
