It would be similar to the cultural transition in the 50s to 60s when US emerged to become a superpower from WWII.
Here because Kang Hodong sang this in the karaoke episode of Kang's Kitchen and I can't help but think that I already heard this in a drama. I initially thought that it might be one from the reply series because it's an old song and most of the ost were renditions/remake... And my guess was right so here I am, reminiscing the second lead syndrome I experienced when I watched Reply 1994...

노래 좋기만 하구만 욕설하는 사람들 원곡을 아는 이들 맞나? 뱅크의 원곡이 나왔을때 대학생이었기에 즐겨 들었었지만 이 노래 편곡도 서정적인 포크송 느낌이 마음에 드는데. 원곡에 대해 잘 안다면 나처럼 40대이거나 최소한 30대 중반 이상 되어야 하는데...그 나이에 저렇게 천박하게 욕설하고 다니는 사람이 있나?
I'm #TeamTrash but i felt so bad for chilbong. A lot of watchers wanted chilbong to end up with najeong but i dont think they would've lasted together lmao it was just right that trash was her husband. I may like chilbong but he wouldn't had been the one for najeong because he acts more for the romance between him and najeong (proven by the fact that he keeps forcing himself on her by kissing her sksjskhs) while trash actually considers her feelings first and respects her (as well as the feelings of everyone around them like najeong's parents). In marriage, that's more important than the romance which is the reason why it wouldn't have worked out with chilbong.

군인이었을때, 이 노래 진짜 많이 들었었음. 근데 그때 당시엔, 이노래가 원곡보다 좋았음.. 가사에 가장 어울리는 감성으로 이노랠 불렀다고 해야할까? 터질듯 말듯한 그 슬픔을 억누르면서 말하는듯한 이 감정이 그땐 더 좋았었던듯. 원곡이 대성통곡하는 그런 느낌이라면
