Actually, that Billy Joel "Stormfront" album has a couple interesting songs, besides "We Didn't Start The Fire". "Leningrad" (about a concert he played in Russia), "The Downeaster 'Alexa'", etc
WoW, when I was a kid, my father purchased a home by Silver Lake Park to fix up and resell. I used to go to Silver Lake Park to feed the ducks bread and ride my bike. Then my father and I would love to go to the old Flannery's Restaurant, the restaurant in an airplane.
I like Bristol over on riverside near Kings George's inn resturaunt. Interesting area. Went there for dinner. It's got a long history it's supposed to be haunted.
Ollie's used to be a Super Fresh. There was an Aaron's store in that part of the strip. The Golden Eagle Diner isn't there anymore, or did the owners just change the look of the building?
I was there a while back. There are woods on the other side of Bath Rd and there are the ruins of a munitions building in there. (Not much left, just the foundation) but still cool.
When a cardinal flies by you it means someone from heaven is visiting you. I have to laugh my oldest grandson is a train dork and looks for trains all the time.
What years did you manage the Hollywood Video in Fairless Hills? I was at that store at every weekend as a teenager.. my childhood home is right behind where Sears Hardware/Deon Square was.
Captain, did you ever manage to lose that woman trailing you in the nature area with the two dogs and a 12-inch butcher's knife while wearing a jason voorhees old school hockey goalie mask?
The kids in Bristol are sharp as a pistol when they do the Bristol Stomp! Bristol was immortalized by Len Barry and the Dovells back in the day!

Yup, you're in Bristol Township, go under the bridge where the train runs and you're in Bristol Borough. Life long resident of West Bristol. Enjoy!!❤

Silver Lake is man-made, but it's been around almost as long as Bristol. Late 1600s, I think.

There's a giant skeleton in the Woodbury section of my city. And there's a house with tons of those giant skeletons in Ellicott City.
