Oh my GOD THANK YOU for featuring the silly music video I made for Look At Hank's Face!!! I had SO MUCH FUN combing through the stream from that night for footage and putting that together! Here's to another awesome P4A!

I have ALWAYS felt loved and I ALWAYS feel like this comunity has remembered to be awesome! Thank you everyone who is here for it.

This was my first p4a since I became a nerdfighter last april. I just want to say that it was the most fun i’ve had in a very long time. The community is so supportive and the p4a lore was so fun to keep up with. Hopefully some year in the future I will be able to donate. Thank you for making my weekend awesome!
I have to work 2 overtime shifts this weekend, so I cannot be as present as I usually like, but I'm super freaking excited that it's P4A again! This is always one of my favorite things to be a part of each year! DFTBA! 💜
Thanks for this, I wasn’t able to donate this year due to my finances but I was part of the contacting Danaher and have been more involved in the Reddit/nerdfighter community than ever before, which is really nice ❤
Happy P4A everyone!! It's so fun to be a part of this. One year I started the hashtag trend of #provehankwrong during a stream segment involving the promise of a hottub. The silliness, the energy, the community... I love it 🙂
It's 5:10 central on Friday and we're already up to almost $500k on tiltify. Over a million all together. I love our community, how generous people are with their time, money, voices... Warm fuzzies
I think there's a ripple effect too. Stuff has never lined up well with P4A for me, but being the "you" addressed in videos like this was what made it come home to me that I was someone people thought was ABLE to donate and volunteer and so on when I was like 14. It's a silly thing to have to have put together for you, but watching P4A stuff and having watched it for a decade is a big factor in pushing me to throw my 5 bucks in when other, unrelated donation drives cross my path. It's easy to feel like money doesn't count, because it's more ephemeral than showing up, putting stuff together, donating cans, but money is more useful than many of the things that are culturally assigned as "real" philanthropy! I couldn't go to any protests in 2020, but I did donate what I could to bail funds instead of drowning in the powerless misery of feeling unable to help, and the way donations are talked about in Nerdfighteria was a big factor in that.
I would love to see your spreadsheet. Not what you put into the spreadsheet, I recognize that's personal, but I would love to see what the grading criteria was.
Can I just say a thing? I cried. When you showed the views of the Koidu maternal health center and said that the p4a money isn't going there this year because it's pretty much funded. You guys, *we* did this. Not just us, of course, but like there is no question that this project would have gone differently if not for nerdfighteria. We are *saving the lives* of mothers and babies in Sierra Leone. Thanks, nerdfighteria, for all the ways that we, collectively, are decreasing worldsuck.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Hank’s absolutely gorgeous elevator speech for the unique and beautiful ways that Save the Children and PIH each serve the world? That was so well done! Wow!
Thank you Hank. Every year, I wish I could donate to the P4A. I’m a medical student, so we really don’t a ton of money to throw around. I’ve been around for a decade(?!) and I look forward to the day when I can donate. Love you guys ❤
I am so thankful for this community. Been here over 10 years and have always lived paycheck to paycheck but every year I look forward to being able to contribute in some small way. This year, I'm also gifting a Crabulo subscription for my girlfriend and it's just... nice. I love this community. If you're reading this, I hope you do something for you today-get some rest, have grace for yourself, and hang in there. You've got this.

I really apreciate you saying you're still part of this community when you can't donate. I am in a strange financial year but you saying that makes me feel less shitty about that, and want to budget for it once the tides hae turned.
I just have to say thank you for supporting and mentioning Gaza. It's nice to see that crisis treated as "yes, of course this is a crisis and the people there need support, which we will of course give." It's just seen so often as a partisan political issue instead of an intensely HUMAN issue and it's so heartening to have it treated as such with someone with a "platform". Thank you all for all the work you do.
There have been P4A's where I've been unable to donate anything and others where I've been able to be a matching donor. This year I am somewhere in the middle. I fully believe I was just as big of a part of each regardless of what I donated. Spending 48 hours fully plugged into this community with a goal of decreasing world suck and having fun is what I love the most about P4A, regardless of how much I donate each year.
Hank, it gave me big wonderful feels to hear that P4A is the by far #1 thing that you want to do in life (spreadsheets don't lie!). It's my #1 too and I look forward SO MUCH to joining our awesome community to watch, learn, laugh, and donate responsibly to help decrease world suck.
This is a topic that has been brought up a lot on the nerdfighter subreddit recently, and it’s really cool to see that Hank is listening to and thinking about that input.
The P4A is my silver lining on what is currently day 4 of being at home with the flu. It's a hopeful time, I can't wait to see everyone over at the livestream!
This made me cry. Hearing that the community has raised enough that the Maternal Health center is funded is so incredible. That we are now focusing on TB is incredible. I love this community so much.
"A signed thank you card from John" HAVEN'T YOU SIGNED YOUR NAME ENOUGH JOHN? 😂 But for real, as someone who isn't in a position to give right now, thanks for this.
Sometimes I feel like I don't have as many resources (time or money) to give as other nerdfighters and sometimes that can result in feeling like I don't have ENOUGH resources to give to BE a nerdfighter. Thank you for the reassurance that my just being here matters, Hank
I did want to voice the opinion that this is the first time in a while that I am not donating this year. I previously donated in the first half of the campaign, ever since that distinction was set up- whatever that year was. I knew exactly where that money was going- two two charities I want to support. This year, I can't control where my money is going, and I don't know if it will be to causes I would ordinarily choose to donate to. I know they said that it tends to be nearly 50/50 anyway, but it makes a difference to me. I just wanted to share that. I will continue buying soap and socks, and privately donating to charities I choose, including Partners in Health.
My Mum's Hair is Growing Up After Her Chemo and Radio Again! Everything I see your hair, I show it to Mum to show how fast and beautifully hair grows back!❤ also, please support cancer vaccines! ❤
The spreadsheet thing made me smile: I created a "spoon calculator" spreadsheet to help give me perspective on where I was spending my time and energy (spoons) and what I was getting out of it. I based it off of failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) spreadsheets from my manufacturing job. I love my spoon calculator :D
Thank you so much Hank for this video because I'm going through a financially rough time and this is the first time in the last few years that I cannot donate and was feeling bad about It. So thanks
it's a dangerous day to get your yearly bonus 😬. Awesome news to learn that the Center for maternal health excellence, is now well enough supported you can direct money to other things, that's an incredible success. Congrats to everyone involved.
SUCH a great day today ♥️ happy P4A!!! My favorite perk I have ever gotten is still the Alaska For Looking book that’s looking for Alaska but in alphabetical order
Someday, it will work out that I can watch more of the livestream (had to work yesterday and already had plans after work), but I just wanted to thank everyone for this community. Those times when I could dip in were encouraging. The comments on this video are encouraging (enough that I teared up a few times). Thanks, and keep being awesome!
I had been a member of this community for so long. I am so saddened that for someone who cares about the world but there is no mention in your social media about the genocide of today. What about those children? I'm not saying you have to give attention to every cause in the world - that is not possible. But the magnitude and scale of this war and your silence is shocking and heart wrenching. Feeling so betrayed and unseen.
It was mentioned in the livestream, and I believe they may have even donated to charity for Gaza. But the war is also not a topic that would benefit from the Green brothers discussing it. Billions of people are talking about it now, including tens of thousands who are more wealthy and influential than these two. Yet that isn't changing anything.
P4A is always such a great time, there's such joy in being part of a community who just come together to celebrate doing fun and ridiculous things together in support of a good cause. 💜 Just being part of it all is awesome, and being able to contribute in any way (donating, sharing links, sharing memes) is just the cherry on top. I also like learning about the work being done by different charities and bookmarking some of their websites to try and support later, when I can. There are so many people doing wonderful things to help others in this world, and it's nice to be reminded of that, and to feel like I'm contributing to supporting their efforts in my own small way.
In a way just watching the videos you two make is supporting the charitable causes we support because it pushes them to the algorithm more, thus reaching more potential members and donors :) so literally every little thing helps, even if you can't donate money!
Alas, the money I saved for the P4A is going to long-overdue car maintenance bc depression made me forget about it. I might try to get the digital bundle.
Thank you for saying this Hank, because I couldn't donate this year and I felt really guilty for that. I'm gonna try to remember that my attention matters more than money sometimes
So many groups and charities require money to be a member, which excludes many who want to change the world. Thank you for welcoming and recognizing those who give with time and talent rather than financial contributions.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again:
I've seen many comments in the past few years that have thanked everyone who donated, because the commenter didn't have the disposable income to donate.

I’m glad we are supporting John’s hobby of signing his name over and over again.
I haven't always felt welcomed by this community. But I've always felt welcomed by hank and john. And I do appreciate it.
Thank you so much Hank for this video because I'm going through a financially rough time and this is the first time in the last few years that I cannot donate and was feeling bad about
It. So thanks
it's a dangerous day to get your yearly bonus 😬.
Please make a calendar that includes all of the nerd fighter events/holidays; P4A, pizzamas, and esther day!
I love the twinkly lights on the sign!
We’re here because we’re here because it’s P4A time!! It is the most wonderful time of the year, I’m so grateful I get to do it with y’all ❤
P4A is always such a great time, there's such joy in being part of a community who just come together to celebrate doing fun and ridiculous things together in support of a good cause.
"...and also, a signed thank you card from John"
Looool lets get him to sign another million bits of paper
I love how much joy P4A brings to you both and to our community...and the world!
Happy P4A 2O24! February is always a harder time for me financially than Decembers were, so thanks for the reminder!
Hank Green, you giant goofball, you give me joy! You have for a long time, and your brother is okay too.
Happy P4A!!! It’s my favorite time of year because I love coming together as a community and creating shared joy!!! I love my Nerdfighters friends!
Awesome! Could only donate 10 bucks this year just glad to be a part of this and decrease world suck
Alas, the money I saved for the P4A is going to long-overdue car maintenance bc depression made me forget about it.
I might try to get the digital bundle.
I'm a low income ally.
Thanks for the fist bump.
I contribute hopefulness to decrease World Suck.
Thanks so much for addressing this issue! Love you guys. ♥️ DFTBA!
I live in germany and we spoke in ur school class about youre youtube chanal
Because being grateful is more productive than feeling hopeless😊 thanks Hank
Happy P4A - best weekend of the year every year!
I am a newer Nerdfighter, and I love PFA so freaking much
🎉❤ Thank you to everyone involved!!! ❤🎉
Thank you for confirming that I am a Nerdfighter just because I am here.
We're here, because we're here, because we're here...
Thank you for saying this Hank, because I couldn't donate this year and I felt really guilty for that. I'm gonna try to remember that my attention matters more than money sometimes
Goddamnit. Im so happy to hear about the maternal center of excellence I’m crying on the fuckin train 🥲. Happy P4A yall
This is my favorite Vlogbrothers video in a while. That's a high bar - but I love this sentiment!
So many groups and charities require money to be a member, which excludes many who want to change the world. Thank you for welcoming and recognizing those who give with time and talent rather than financial contributions.
Just today i had to cancel my awesome socks subscription. Thanks for posting this. I needed to hear it.
John is just ITCHING to sign a bunch of things again
My heart is full and I am so excited. Thank you for being a human beacon of hope!
