I prefer the Haunted Mansion at Disney World but never went on this ride at Disney Land just Disney World . It was a great ride fun too .Never had the joy in gettng on this ride at Disney Land but really enjoyed it at Disney World.
I used to complain about this version of the haunted mansion, mostly because they start it up too soon for me. Personally, I think it should still be the normal version during Halloween and then open this version in late november, perhaps in time for christmas, but I have to admit even though it might be too early when they start it up, it's not so bad having Jack Skellington around after all. :)
+LMG Vids I think I know what it is...come now don't be selfish. I do wonder why the people using it seem to be keeping it some kind of trade secret, it's not like us filthy peasants can afford it anyway, lmao. Good POV though.
+LMG Vids Lol. I still find it pretty selfish though, it's like those (such as yourself) feel you're entitled to the better footage, with a camera where the technology pretty much only NOW is able to capture Dark Rides this amazingly, even more brightly than they normally appear and mostly very clear, and the rest of us filthy peasants who can't afford it and are stuck with older, cheaper cameras and even smartphones deserve to have shitty quality recordings, though most smartphone cameras are decent in full lighting at least. I just don't like elitism is all, unless there's a damn good reason for it.
The haunted mansion is so much better without this holiday stuff. I mean it's fun but it gets kind of tiresome pretty quickly. Also, Haunted Mansion is a timeless classic as far as Disney attractions go. Even so, it's still nice Disney wants to do something that guests do enjoy that might upset some others. Not everybody is going to accept everything.
Benamax And, I respect that. I mean, don't get me wrong, Nightmare Before Christmas is a good movie. It really is worth the time, but in a strange way, when they add it here, it kind of takes away the real creepiness and true atmosphere that regular haunted mansion is meant to have, so I try not to look at it as anything big and massive like the regular one. Plus, i'd rather have this ride without an official story line so that it keeps it's mystique. On the other hand, the Holiday version is kind of creative, so it does in fact contribute to the endless creativity of the haunted mansion, but what's upsetting about it is that the floating candles, the bride, the caretaker and his dog, the raven and the hitchhikers all get taken out, but I suppose it's because they hardly have any connection to the story line of the overlay, and I suppose I can understand that.
***** I agree with it removing the creepiness. I feel like HM is more creepy while HMH is more fun/jolly. I think the only thing in HMH that is as scary as the one in HM is the Stretching Room.
Wow. this is the clearest vid I have seen yet, I was able to see everything, thank you!!

I like the Holiday version more. People can understand it more because it has a story and many people like TNBC.
