The character developement of Noelle is the best developement of a female character in the series or at the very least the best in all of Shonen series. She has become one of the greatest females in Shonen history imo
I do like her growth.

@@WillF1980 Maki Zenin? I agree. She has great developement too. I say both are great. If I had to choose tho, I'd have my reasons. If it was Maki, then you know I think its like any other reason: great characteristics, amazing design all that jazz. If it was Noelle, same reason with a plus that she was one of the earliest females to get developement in any shonen series

I don’t know why people find it so hard to realize that Asta is still in his cool down period if he wasn’t he would’ve been in Union from the start
I will feel better if that is the case but I still would have liked him to not be involved at all.
@@axx012 That's usually the case, unlike other MC that can fight alone, Asta usually have some backups because he has cooldown period. I don't know how this battle will be in the side of Noelle and co, if Asta is not involve.
@@Bandicoot19 people also forget that just having anti magic isn’t an automatic win because there are legit counters to it in which zagred showed with his storm of blades and with asta in a cool down period his anti magic will probably be more of a supporting factor because there’s no way in hell asta is killing megicula or any other supreme devil in his base form

People are mad about Asta joining in when in reality luck, magna, Zora and nacht were with him last so they’re probably there too. There is a possibility that Dorothy and Nozelle could arrive since luck and nozelle are the only two who could get him there in time to help noelle.

Was expecting Nozel to come and save Noelle 1st and when Nozel is about to get defeated Asta will come and they will fight together, like Asta and Yami vs Dante, and this time Asta and Nozel vs Megicula, and that will be the time when Nozel will finally respect Asta.
Well, chapter 300 is still awesome nonetheless, I have no complaint. 😋

Since he is on cooldown, I think others will help more than him. Maybe they met up with Nozel on the way and he's going to help. Though the only one in shape of fighting right now is Luck since Magna is beat up and doesn't have any magic left and Nacht is also pretty beat up.
I also want to see everyone else's reaction to Asta's Devil Union mode since they haven't seen him in that form yet.

As much as I like Asta, I don't want him to hog all the glory in defeating Magicula ever since Noelle had all that growth and development while completely decimating Vanica. I think he needs to save his strength against his battle against Lucifero. There's a possibility that Nozel, Dorothy, and maybe some of the Black Bulls like Gordon, Grey, Gauche, and Henry might assist Asta and Noelle in defeating Magicula. The reason why I say that is because Gordon and his family have delved deep into curses & Grey and Gauche were there in their house and Henry has an illness which is revealed to be a curse and just like all curses, are sources to Magicula. Let us all remember that Magna defeated Dante, I wouldn't be surprised if the other Black Bulls worked with the other magic knights to take down the other high ranking devils. Maybe Finral, Luck, Magna, Charmy and Vanessa might help Yuno and Langris in defeating Zenon and his devil. Usually these battles do require teamwork if the enemy is too strong.
Chances are, once Asta is told about Megicula/Vanica being the killer of Noelle's mother, he'll do what he can do make sure Noelle lands the ending blow.
@@DeadlyblueEdward Hopefully you're right. I do remember the Devil Union mode does have a time limit. I mean if their's one person that must take the finishing blow against Magicula, it has to be Noelle since she has to avenge her mother and it would be good if Asta respects her wishes and give more build-up in their relationship. Like I said, I would like to see other characters get some spotlight with these match-ups such as the other magic knight captains and the rest of the Black Bulls. This arc would be so boring and repetitive if Asta keeps taking all the spotlight and defeating every single devil in this arc.
Gordon an Charlotte plus asta the only ones that can do something about her curse magic but asta has to be here for now i think noelle at best might use her ultimate magic that’s if she has any mana left.

And considering, it's coming from ONE OF THEIR OWN KIND, throws massive shade at that idea. I know it's just how Asta and Liebe are written to in-fact BE, but, considering the speed at which he took out BOTH Lilith, and Nama, I don't think Megicula is gonna get out of THIS. Cuz, for real. he was able to fend off that OTHER Devil's attacks. And that was BEFORE he even had the power he has NOW. Megicula is gonna get CLAPPED.

10:16 Is Vanica not dead? We don't see Vanica at all in this chapter so I thought the new form Megicula is in was meant to show that Gaja killed Vanica. His sacrifice may have been in vain but you could argue that he meant to vaporize Megicula's body to allow Noelle a shot at her heart.

Megicula seems like she might actually be a counter to Asta. Clearly his anti-magic cannot effect all varieties of curse magic.
A lot of fans didn't want Asta to save her so she could defeat her own antagonist and I kinda agree with that sentiment. At the same time, she physically can't do anything against Megicula right now and Asta has arrived. Here is what I would like to happen, maybe even a prediction. Asta takes down Decaying World and makes an opening for Noelle to transform back into Saint Stage Mode or at least Valkyrie Dress and use ultimate magic for the finishing blow.
Girl went against full power vanica and needed hax to defeat her. No way in hell is a logical person going to think that she would solo a superior devil in the flesh. People need to remember that beating Zagred took the protagonist, his rival, a broken assist character, a captain, two op legends and a dark elf. Noelle is strong but Megi is to broken for her to win without serious help. Also I like your theory about the fight but wouldn't Asia need to at least take off that regenerative curse she has first or can saint stage just ignore that?
