At 8:11 this actually reminded me of seventh grade: our math teacher had so many health problems that she was literally gone for over half of the year due to it. So we always had different subs that didn’t know what to do so we literally learned nothing and just played games in her class pretty much all year. I always felt really bad bc she was gone for so long but I think she’s better now 😊

I was in year 11 and covid hadn’t started it was 2019 going to 2020. My teacher left and we had substitutes for weeks, some didn’t know what maths was, some didn’t know how to deal with us, and one bless his heart, we didn’t care. Covid hit and GCSEs were cancelled. Let’s just say I failed maths yet again in 2020. Luckily in college I resat maths, and now have passed. After three failed attempts.
Moral of the story, substitute teachers can’t do shit in UK high schools and GCSE maths is a waste of time

8:14 very relatable, in 4th grade i had a teacher who was pregnant, she didnt have health problems and was in her late 20s but she missed so many days of school and was such a lazy teacher because she would let a group of 3 girls sit wherever they wanted, do what ever they wanted, and didnt have to listen to the rules, she ended up missing the last week and day of school because she went into labor 2 months early, i never know what happened to her but what my mom told me was that she moved back to where her family lived and started teaching somewhere else. (my mom knew because she was a teacher at that school)
