- The California Road Trip vlog series is finally here! 🇺🇸 Watch the full playlist: • CALIFORNIA VLOGS | Jun...
At the beginning of June 2023, my boyfriend Danny and I spent two weeks driving the iconic Route 66 from New Mexico to LA in a dream once-in-a-lifetime road trip. Vlogs to come include Route 66, Las Vegas, LA, Universal Studios Hollywood and of course Disneyland California!✨
We managed to squeeze a fully action-packed day in at Universal Studios Hollywood during our time in LA! In this vlog we visit the brand new Super Nintendo World and beat the 180+ minute queue for the Mario Kart ride using Single Rider, and go on to ride The Mummy, Jurassic World, the Universal Studio Tram Tour, Transformers: The Ride and more! We also try lots of the food and drink on offer at the park and give our honest opinion on the quality and price, before ending our night watching the Water World stunt show 💥💦
Be sure to hit subscribe so you don’t miss the rest of the vlogs!

Lovely vlog ..I've been to orlando but would love to visit Hollywood's universal....also wheres orange dress from? X I don't grt why every1 queues for hours 😂 when they can just do single rider...I know they don't want to split up BUT save so much time and only for a few mins for a ride 😂your be reunited again😅😅😅
It’s definitely a different experience but the Hollywood-specific attractions are so cool!! The orange dress is from Primark 🧡
There’s no way we would’ve managed to get everything done in 1 day without doing single rider because the park was SO BUSY!! I’m more bothered about standing with someone in the queue than riding a ride with them anyway plus half of the time me and Danny ended up in the same ride car 🤷🏼♀️ Just walking past everyone stuck in the standby lines like byeeeeee 👋🏼😂
There’s 4 Disney parks in Florida but Disneyland still has more attractions in their two parks so that’s something to consider. Plus, the whole history part of it is special. It’s my personal favorite Disney park because it just feels extra magical there.
As for Universal in Hollywood, it’s an actual working studio lot. So the draw is that it is actually where films are made. I suppose film buffs would enjoy the Hollywood location more while strictly theme park fans would enjoy Universal Florida more (especially when Epic Universe opens).
We’re really torn which Disney park is our fav but I think DLR takes the spot because it’s the OG! Plus it has so many unique rides/lands that we don’t have elsewhere✨
I think Universal Hollywood was missing that unique factor - aside from the Tram Tour/working lot element which was definitely the best thing about it!
