I for one love Cracker Barrel just the way it is. The fireplace, antiques and old photos all over the walls, the country store, all make this a truly unique restaurant chain that is different than all the other restaurants. It has that down home back in the good old day's atmosphere that takes you back in time. If your hell bent on destroying this unique restaurant chain seems like you are doing a really good job so far.
It’s such a great place. I love taking my kiddo to get breakfast there
Thanks for the video y'all! Cracker Barrel has been one of my favorite since I was a kid and still is. I travel for work and eat there almost every time I'm out of town. I'm glad to see they are keeping the country look and feel. Their sales are down so they needed the update to attract new and younger clients. The existing clients will continue to eat there as long as the service and food quality remain the same at reasonable prices which I think they are compared to other chains. My only problem is I never know what to get each time I go. Roast beef, chicken n dumplings, rainbow trout, all the breakfast options! 😍
Thanks for watching. It’s still great and definitely seems to have a cleaner feel and still got the old time country feel just modernized and I think that’s ok. Instead of dark wood look they went with the light wood and it’s brighter for sure. It’s a little louder now because they took down the bearers but also that makes it cleaner because no telling how much splattered drinks and food got trapped between the lettuce panels lol. Food is still great and the prices is on par as every other sit down restaurants. Still got a great selection of gifts and stuff and I’ll be going back soon to make a video on the Halloween decor section.
Actually looks nice. More open and bright. Surprised
I really how bright it looks and so open feeling, now it is loud but still nice
Dining room is a disaster. Could be any random diner anywhere from Texas to Virginia. Since the food is just okay, the decor is what made each location "A destination." This actually reminds me of a food pavilion at a fair or stockyard, which is where people go out of necessity. This is not a special place full of charm. Really sad.
I had breakfast in the old style Cracker Barrel yesterday in Peoria, Arizona. They had a few new menu items but the store remained the same. We travel the country a lot and go to C.B. on occasion. I'm gonna miss the dividing walls full of "stuff", The new ones may be so loud it will give folks with hearing aid's fits.
El Mirage, Arizona
That’s what I rough is how loud it is now but I do miss all the old decor items around
Thank you for the video but I really don't see much difference from this look or the old look
It’s more new paint and new floors and it made it brighter. Definitely more loud sounding inside
@3:06 What?? They took out the squeaky wooden front doors for those glass ones. Shame on them.
Was this in mount juliet. They are suppose to be doing the one I work at soon in KY
Yes this one is the MJ one. It’s a good remodel that still gives the country feel
Love it! I work at the cracker barrel in Georgia I see the difference and I like the new remodel cracker barrels I pray we get an upgrade thanks for the video you guys ❤️
Thanks for watching
I went in a cracker barrel in frankfort ky I liked the old style with the lamps on the tables and yes the food was delicious 😋
Yeah now I do miss those lamps on the tables
modernizing cracker barrel is a mistake. People dont go there for it to look modern or updated
Exactly. Some things need to stay the same, that classic Cracker Barrel feel will be missed
I don’t go for the way it looks, but sure wish they would bring back the original menu items.
Nice carver treasure ur dad ever day buddy do all u can do with him with him every day buddy I miss my dad been gone going on 17 years now my mom to 😢😢😢😢
Yeah we do a lot of stuff together
If they haven’t improved the menu from two years ago (the last time I was in one). Then all the window dressing is a waste of money.
I haven’t had an issue with the menu the last couple years
Food looks good
It was
Not as good as it was years ago
Wonder what they did with the tons of antiques they had in a warehouse.......because it's obvious they really reduced the amount of things they have on the walls. Hmmmm.....juries out.
Yeah I have no clue, you wouldn’t think they would just toss them in the dumpster because I can see the stuff being worth money
They had a yard sale and sold everything 😢😢
I work there and they are having an aution to sell everything
@@katelovell625 they gonna let the public know?
That's not the Cracker Barrel that I love. Cracker Barrel shouldn't look like all of the other restaurants out there. What are y'all trying to do....close up your restaurants?!
That old look definitely gave them a unique style unlike other restaurants
Food not as good as it was years ago and too much money
I spend just as much there as I do at any other restaurant I go to anymore. Even on vacation with my kid I spend the same on average any place I go and I always enjoy the food at the location I go to for CB
@CarverFamily We stop going to our Cracker Barrel years ago smaller portions the fish on Friday is not cod, like they say
@@Bob-bb3ur I stopped doing bubba gumps in Gatlinburg because last time we went it was a very small portion. I felt like I was eating a kids meal that night
