Sure... so your q pulls cards and also gives you an Astrospc. 3 Astrospecs gives you an Astrohouse or w/e. You need them to match and be the same color for various buffs and to empower your E. You increase your chance to draw better astrospecs by having more high rarity occult scrolls and or through some ascensions. That's basically the 101.
Q ability (astroforecast) - add cards to hand, obtain a random scroll rarity to your hotbar E ability - use the scrolls in your hot bar to deal heavy damage to enemies (matching scrolls do more damage, increasing order of uncommon, rare, legendary). In order to seal massive damage and room clearing abilities, grab ascensions that increase the number of cards you draw, card damage, and reserve amount. (Astroforecast) In addition to that, the more higher rarity scrolls (such as [unfettering will], you will have a better of a chance of getting higher rarity scrolls to your hot-bar (there is an ascension that allows you to do elemental damage whenever you pull legendary scrolls into your middle hot bar this is displayed as the cards on what looks like fire)
If I'm not mistaken, there's an ascension that allows you to store excess cards and he's been spamming the secondary skill to fill up constantly while picking up secondary skill ammo drops on the way and I think by the end of the video he had over 500 reserved cards based on the red number below the secondary skill at the bottom left corner.

By far and away the dumbest hero theyve added to this game. Legit makes tao look balanced imo.

the character has a talent that can reroll scrolls (you get one reroll per ascension you take)

@maniandbeano they do, but also owl upgrades the rarity of scrolls automatically. So it's irrelevant

probably in multiplayer you can get way more dmg than even in lone wolf. like duo 3bil and so on
