This is another great idea. My sister worked at Mr. Owl it was a doughnut shop it was open 7 days a week. He must have been old farmer lol. This was back in the 80's. They are so cute you are clever. I love it! Thank you for sharing.
I am super excited I found your tutorial! We are throwing my grandmother a surprise 80th bday party and she absolutely is obsessed with owls! She is gonna love these! Thank you! If you have any more owl diy projects let me know please. On a different note, you are so adorable while making your videos.
Stephanie Herbert Hi Stephanie. Thank you SO much!! Happy birthday to your grandmother. :) I like owls also. I recently made an owl candle holder video that you might want to give a try. th-cam.com/video/-L-g0FMhVaw/w-d-xo.html My daughter also made this owl painting on her channel: th-cam.com/video/Aan8PCL6xjQ/w-d-xo.html I hope those ideas might help a little too. Thank you for watching and for your wonderful comment. :)
Super video & super cute! You have a vibrant personality and your friendliness shows through in your easy to follow video!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I made these for gifts and will also be trying to sell some in my little shop.....they took me longer to make than I thought they would--about 45 minutes or more each! You make it look so fast and easy! Still--a wonderful and inexpensive craft I will continue making--because the end result is so worth it! Thank you!
Thank you SO much for your wonderful comment. It means so much to me. I am so happy to hear that you like this project. Good luck with selling your owls. OXOX
What a sweetheart you are with the cutest ideas!!! Sooo creative! Thank you for sharing! My Daughter in law will LOVE these owls! I think I will add scent to them also....maybe pine would be good....what a great Mom you are! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas! (I subscribed and will be checking out your other links...again....thank you so much! You are so creative!
Aww thank you so much for this beautiful comment. :) Scent is a GREAT idea!!! I love it! I hope others read your comment and give it a try. Merry Christmas and many blessings to you and your family. OXOX
We don't have pine cones in my city, so my parents brought three big bags from a trip for me to make crafts. I thought they were too many, but now I'll need more! Thanks a lot for this!
Owl is so cute. Will have to make one for a friend. She loves owls and I am always looking for different owl things to make. I have made cards and a few other things but this will be great. Thank you
omg! *-* :D I saw this a little while ago on facebook, but I was not passed through here and I didn't know that there was already the video! aaaaawwww! Gorgeous! I love it! ♥
Awesome! Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! :o) You will enjoy making them. By simply adding some paint to their eyes you can add more life to the owls. I figured this out after I made the video. hehe Here is a picture of one of the owls with paint. i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r545/EasyMeWorld/P1000100.jpg I used puffy paint but any paint would work. They made great gifts this year for Christmas. I even made tiny owls.
I absolutely love this video I will be making these with my daughter as we love owls. Thank you so much for posting this video. The Owls are very cute. :)
Just found you now on youtube, I teach a very small arts and crafts class and I just can't wait to make your owl with them Love it. Actually, can't wait to make one myself, :)
+Yvonne Locke You are so sweet Yvonne. Thank you. :) Your class will have a blast making the owl. They are so much fun to make. Here is another owl craft that is easy to do too: th-cam.com/video/-ZL7g4DzD9Y/w-d-xo.html I love owls. hehe
My tree has a lot of homemade ornaments on it. hehe I even have ornaments from when my girls were babies. I love to look at all the cool ornaments every year when I decorate. I guess that is why I like to make ornaments so much. It gives a great memory. :)
EasyMeWorld Homemade ornaments are the best! I still have a few I made with my grandmother when I was younger, but not quite sure which box they've been packed in.
Hi ..I really loved the owl and wanted to do it.. but I am from Bangalore , India ...I dont think we can get Pine cones here.. Could you please suggest me any other material instead of pine cone here.
That is a very good question. Thank you so much for asking. I thought about it and I remember seeing a pine cone made out of felt that looked adorable and I think that felt would be a great substitute if you can get it. If not... maybe brown paper? Here is a picture of the felt pine cones. :) breadandbuttons.typepad.com/blog/2011/11/felt-pinecones.html Let me know if you come up with an idea. I would love to see it. :)
Rebekah Diaz Some of my pine cones were easy and some were not. I used scissors when they got hard to pull off. :) I hope this helps a little. Thanks for your comment. :)
+Kanthimathi S Thank you for watching Kinthimathi S. :) Maybe you can use bark off of a tree? Perhaps you can use cut construction paper? If you are in a tropical area, maybe you can cut palm fronds into pieces that will look like feathers? The ideas can be endless. hehe It is fun trying to come up with different ways to do it. OXOX
how are you doing fine I hope I like that idea that you did with your owls how did you get the pieces off your pine cones please let me know I have a yard full of pine cones thank you
Hi Peewee. I usually cut the little pieces of the pine cone apart with scissors and sometimes I can break them off really easy with just my fingers. I hope this helps. Have fun!! I love this project. hehe They make great gifts. Thanks for watching. OXOX
I just finish it! I watch the hole vid and I did practice on it.For my cousin's welcome home baby shower. I sent a pic and loved it she wants it for her baby shower. Thanks you help me a lot! Love it or not? Thanks!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥❇❇❇✳✳✳✴✴✴♦♦♦♦
