Is there any kind of engine claim in this class? when a guy pulls 10 car lengths on the re-starts you'd think that might be incentive in creating some variant of close competition.
No claim on engines, Back then they were running 410-430 ci small block based. making 750+ now with the Lucas Oil and Morten Building series engine CI is limited to 460 I believe. Making 940+. Now these guys are putting on restrictor plates before the feature to keep the tires on the car when track gets dry. If track is tacky they can hook it all up, but not for long. It's wild now.
