Back at it with another episode of Curb Appeal! Today we are recreating this beautiful family transitional home for 6 sims! This has to be one of my favourite builds to-date and I especially love the kids-only living room upstairs. I also want to thank you all for an amazing 2022 and for all of your support this year! I hope we can accomplish lots together in the new year and please let me know what your goals are! this past year i’ve been through a lot, weather it be a car accident, losing friends, breakups, losing a grandparent, everything has just happened this year. the gym has really helped me get through everything, i’ve been going since the beginning of march and i haven’t stopped since (besides a car accident dw i’m okay and recovered). my goal is to be able to fit into my dream prom dress when i become a senior next year. i graduate in 2024 and i want to lose weight, become healthy not just for me but for the younger version and princess version of me, become the girl that younger me always dreamed of being.
I loved the part of you talking about manifesting good vibes.. my husband started a side gig and wanted to go full time but it was scary.. a month later he was let go from the job he was at and it’s been a blessing in disguise because he is so busy with his business now! I also started a new job I love in 2022. Same role in banking just at a different bank and it’s made me way happier too!

This is the PERFECT house for the gray gen in the Not So Berry Challenge. With the dark grays and black color scheme and upstairs space with the popcorn machine for movie nights it’s like it was made for that challenge!!! The story telling capabilities are phenomenal. I’m so glad I found this when my gray gen heir is about to age up to a young adult.

My goal for 2023 is to get make more music and reaching people with my lyrics!! I quit my full-time job 6 months ago to focus on music full-time! That was a big step for me.. because I was scared, but I had to remind myself that if I never try I'll never know! Loved this build! Merry Christmas and happy new year!! I normally don’t comment on videos even though I know I should lol I’m just shy but I had to comment on this one. I recently came across your channel and have been watching your videos for about a month now and when you mentioned that you quit your day job and started doing this full time I was really happy and excited for you and then when you said you got sponsored by EA and Logitech my excitement got even bigger and honestly I almost did cry because that really inspired me to get really motivated and start taking the things I want to do seriously. I’ve been wanting to create gaming content and have been working silently on a visual novel game and going to school for video game design while working full time and doing the gaming stuff I wanna do has always been on the back burner for me because school and work takes up almost all my time but you made me realize and see that if you just keep working hard at the things you really wanna do in life eventually you’ll get to where you want to be and I just really wanted to say thank you for making the videos you make and thank you for being a part of the sims community and caring for your fans and your community that you’re building ❤

I love your builds Ashley, this one is so cute! I can’t wait to put it in my game! For me 2022 was a good year! I was anticipating to have lost weight by now, but I didn’t accomplish that. I did try though, and I feel like this year I will. But I did start my acting journey, and realized just how much I love being on stage! I have now been in two plays and plan to do more and be in more classes! So I had very much a rollercoaster of a year!

I just got sims 4 so I have only the basics. I spent hours learning how to use it today. But this build is literally mind blowing!!!!! I hope someday I have this creative of a mind and of course all the packs lol. Love it!

I had a designated play room at my grandmas house and we called it “the den” 😂 that’s where I spent most of my time with my toys as a child. All my stuff was in there so I definitely understood storing away all the kids stuff.

10:58, For my family, we had the kids stuff in the fully finished basement so that the first and second floors remain somewhat clutter-free. Our garage and attic also had some other stuff but in the basement we also had like a whole wall for storage and a separate utility room where we had some more shelves as well. It made it so that the house looked relatively neat and tidy. Of course, it wasn't true throughout the house, but so long as guests didn't go poking around our closets or basement, they would have had no idea three kids lived there!
Another beautiful build ❤ as for manifesting, I’ve done a few things to help me out and I’ve seen great results from! First, of course a dream board! Pictures of goals and motivational little sayings that go along with it. In the middle of mine I use the saying “it’s already yours. The universe.” Second, it’s called a burning ritual. This one is more for letting go of negativity, bad behavioral habits, grudges, things like that. You can write one word or a novel lol whatever works for you to get out all of the bad. Then you SAFELY burn it or rip it up. Burning is better and fun ha but you think about being free from these things as it burns. Think of the negativity floating away in the smoke. Then when it’s done, say some positive affirmations, like I am free from these things, and I have abundance” idk whatever works ha it’s okay to cry, let it out ❤ this one really has helped me, do it as often as needed! Third, repeatedly write an affirmation you want to see happen in life. I’m freaking 25 and had a fear of driving 🥴 so I started writing a whole page to now just three times lol but I’d write it in present tense like, “I can manage my worries around driving and drive in spite of them.” and for my procrastination, “I am thankful I start right away on what needs to be done!” Just 3 times each and as you write it, think about being in that situation. Like I think about driving like a badass and fully confident as I write about being a good driver. This one really helped me have no worries driving! I’m going to finally get my license now 🥰 third, I just wrote out in the same sense of the 2nd, but more as a novel and not repeating. Just in present tense the life I want, relationship, health, career. Mediate on having it and being that person. And last but not least, make sure to write about what you are grateful for! Everyday, a few things you were grateful for that happened. Always give thanks for what’s happening or what has happened 🥰 because yes, we want more in our lives, but we are blessed more than we give credit for! So always give back gratitude to whatever you believe in 🥰❤️❤️

In hs i was so against trends and looked down on people for being "basic", but really i was jealous because i am by nature not very trendy and couldn't pull it off. I don't really have my own sense of style and never know what's going on.
The kids stuff is in the living room in my house. We are a military family though in base housing so there realistically is no space for a dedicated playroom.

I think it's pretty common to banish the kids and their mess to the basement.
Nothing wrong with your voice, but you should also upload these with soft music versus talking. I’d go right to sleep 😂 builds are so relaxing! Lol
Hubby and I have a rule of no toys in the family spaces. The kids have their own playroom (which is the biggest living space in the house) in the basement with all their toys. I think it is realistic to have a dedicated kid space and a dedicated adult space.
My goals are to be more independent and decisive!

It's funny that you talk about asset management , cause that's the direction that I'm going with my career. Next semester hopefully it will be my last in college and then studying for my CFA level one. Those are my goals for this year. If anybody has any advice I would appreciate it.
Omg I went down a very similar path! I majored in finance and got a Bachelors of Commerce. Did my CFA L1 exam the same summer after graduating university. Took some time off for summer then got a job at an asset management company while studying for L2 :) To advance in my company it wasn’t required to have CFA, but I continued to take it since I believed it would help me down the line! Also, usually the company will pay for your CFA exams so make sure you clarify that benefit in your interview! I would say the exams are very passable, but don’t underestimate the amount of work it will take. Also don’t get tripped up by your mock exam scores! The actual exam tends to be easier than the mocks in my opinion ☺️ Also, try to do all 3 levels back-to-back while you still have that “university study stamina”. It’s so easy to forget how to study once you’re in the workforce for too long 😂 Also, make sure to plan in advance to book off the week before your exam at work since it can get competitive amongst employees for time off (if you have a job at the same time that is). GOOD LUCK and you’ve got this! Wishing you the best ❤️

Mother of 3 girls (all under 5) they have a “playroom” in the loft and their 2 br upstairs. But their stuff still bleeds into the rest of the house 😂
