    Very nice!!! The only thing I disagree with is that it is not a RELIGION. it is a spirituality, a way of life. It's very important to make the difference.

    • @elconquistador6468

      What's the difference 🤔? Can religion not have a spiritual connection to divine? Can spiritual not have structure and proper protocols? Ifá religion has is HUGE on structure and proper protocol and has temples(iles, cabildos,egbes) around around world.
      What's makes I difference than religion? Or are we arguing semantics?
      I enjoy discussion 😌 thank you so much if you do answer and share your thoughts.

      African Spiriituality is the bedrock of all Spirituality on this planet and by default, available to all.

    • @missqt48
      @missqt48 2 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      The thing about African spirituality! It is just that! There are mystics that work in conjunction with our DNA! So ‘outsiders’ can study all they want, they can dress, speak and admire the practice but doensnt mean it is for them. Just like some people study Judaism and their lifestyle mirrors the practice but it doesn’t make them a Ju. There’s a huge difference between physical and mental! In these ‘last days’ it’s better to use your ‘third eye.’

    Blood sacrifice helps us realise the Importance and Reverence the Ceremony is requiring. Life, Blood, is the most precious gift we can offer. Animals, are still a requirement for Life. We eat meat. It is necessary for our bodies to function. Offering this in Ritual is a huge sacrifice for us. I raised my hen from chick to the day of my Ritual. I made sure she had a certain diet so she would be pure for her role in the Ritual. She was precious to me. The Gifts i received from this Ritual were necessary for my Spiritual progression. So i wanted the Orisha to know, how seriously i took this Ritual, and what i was willing to sacrifice for my Spiritual progression. Blood sacrifice isnt evil. It is necessary sometimes.

    As much as I'll like to appreciate her for upholding our culture and traditions, I'll like to also set the record straight that she lacks the in-depth knowledge of Orisa and Ifa.
    We Yoruba people are from western part of Nigeria, even the Yorubas in Benin Republic all migrated from Nigeria.
    Also, Orisa is not a deity but a general term used to refer to all ancestral gods, Osun, Ogun, Sango, Esu are few of them.

    • @OracleofBODE
      @OracleofBODE 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s the problem, thinking because we are the Yoruba people of Nigeria does not mean we know it all. The diasporas knew All the Gods are the Orisha, in order to discuss about it all they gave it Orisha which still translates to them as all the gods in one yet there are Osun, Oya, Obatala, Esu, Ifa, Oruila, Ogun, Egun, Ibeji and so on. Or didn’t you heard her saluting each of those Orisas ?

    The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
    Satan and his fallen angels walk among us seeking to deceive us and still looking for souls to possess through spiritism and communication with the dead, trying to call back those who have died as though we are God. God has assigned us our birth date and we also have a date of departure that only God knows for he is Alpha and Omega;the beginning and has no ending because the Lord is infinite.

    I'd say before you start saying incantations or chants in Yoruba, learn the language to the point where you almost become a native speaker. A single change in tone can mean something else. For example the word "ogun" has like 15+ meanings depending on how you say it.
    Another thing I see is the unnecessary use of the word "Ase" as if it were a greeting. It's a powerful word, becareful what you say "Ase" to, you might end up cursing yourselves with wrong pronunciations due to intonation and "Ase". I'm not even joking, ask the real Yorubas.

      @@tok1879 Asking someone to properly learn a language isn't policing. Especially a language that is confusing to some of it's own native speakers. But if I speak English you'd at least understand what I say. I am Yoruba, and I couldn't hear a word she said, she said those words so plainly and that's not how it is spoken; if I pronounced the word "solved" as "sul-v-ed" or wrongly pronounce every single word in a sentence, would you understand what I'm trying to say? Now imagine me trying to recite poetry or sing with all those wrong pronunciations. Note that I'm talking about her pronunciations not her accent. English is Easy, Yoruba is NOT, not even to some Yoruba people, it's similar to chinese, and there are up to 5 types including the General Yoruba

      My brother if you listen very well to this woman you will realize that she speaks about the essence of life as presented by Orisha. Every religion evolve even Christianity unfortunately African culture and religion was villified and it's evolution was distrupted. If you visit Cuba you will realize how the Orisha religiwas fused with catholicism and called Santeria. Africa is in great trouble because they have lost their root. Agreed Christ has brought us light but it can be done in the light of Santeria. My brother the truth is that we are not practicing Christianity in Africa because there is no Christlike character in us. Had it been Africa religion are allowed to fuse may be we will be living a better life.

These are people who have found their true essence in life, not you still practicing some ancient middle eastern religion. I’m not even a religious folk but I enjoyed the interview and it’s quite informative to me.

      So the Japanese, Chinese etc who don't believe in quoran or Bible will be going to hell. Those who died before Christianity and Islam came, are they in hell. God gave everyman how to connect with him. Christianity is Jewish tradition plus jesus christ, Islam is the Judaism, jesus christ and mohammad. Islam recognises all the names in the old testament which is Judaism. Condemning her faith shows your kind of person. Judaism is abrahamovic tradition and humans were used as sacrifice before God told abraham to use a ram. All religion can be modernised.

Hebrews, Hamite theory, the Noah curse of Canaan, or the various quotes if the Bible who suggests that divination is wrong. Hmmm. Ifa is older then all Abrahamic religions , but in yet we as black people are of the devil because of Babylonian texts, and racial discrimination from rabbi, concil of niieca. If you don't understand African culture and black people them be quiet. Jesus respected nature , ancestors, etc. Smh
