Battlefield 4 BANNED from Official Servers - Salt Included

- Mainly just want to bring more attention to this so it doesn't carry over to future Battlefield titles.
The main issue being admins of Official type servers being able to ban players from a server running as Official. Running as Official makes it so they get seeded by EA/DICE's back-end with players that use the "join now/play now" feature in Battlelog. However because it is set to Official it means they are all supposed to run the same server to server when set to Official. It also means they don't have access to commands like kick/ban. In order to be able to use those types of commands admins are supposed to change their servers to Ranked.
However some admins are now abusing access to PB files provided by some server rental providers to place manual bans that require a server restart to enforce. This means they get their servers seeded by EA and they can remove anyone they want even though it violates TOS for servers running as Official.
Yes I've spoken to DICE devs about it. I understand their decision not to address it for BF4 and I hope it is addressed for any future Battlefield title.
No this isn't an IP ban like the one many players got from servers like AOD and Cain's Lair in the past.
It appears KGB changed their server to Ranked now. I don't have a problem from being banned from Ranked servers I'm more concerned about it happening when it shouldn't be possible.

Forgot to mention the title is a bit "click-batey". I'm not banned from all Official type servers however I am banned from multiple so that is the reason for the plural for servers.

How can admins in official servers be such salty cry babies and get away with it? Surely if its official then DICE can remove them as admins for fake kicks?
Yes, they can kick them if they get too many reports and abuse their power too much. After a certain amount of time and reports, a DICE employee will start investigating (for example, comes in with a level 32 unofficial DICE account) and if he abuses his power infront of the employee, he and his server will get banned.

The british server BOB (Band of Brothers) has the craziest admins I've ever seen.
So first off the server is filled with TONS of tiny tiny rules. And if you break only small one by accident, youre kicked without warning.
I was in a game with bunch of admins in it, and I swear, the two admins in my team were constantly writing kicks for people nonstop. CONSTANTLY. Like every 7 seconds theres a kick. One of them was named HelFury. So I asked him:
Allu - do you guys even play?
HelFury - I dont play, Im usually here just to enforce the rules
Allu - does it pay well?
HelFury - My job pays well
Allu - Is this your job?
HelFury - This is my hobby.
Then I facepalmed so hard that I almost got a black eye. The guy comes to spend hours in a videogame just to kick people for nothing
So I eventually got kicked in operation locker, and you know for what? Enemies including admins were camping right next to my main base uncap border. So I got kicked for shooting them from the uncap area. What else was i supposed to do :D if I exited the uncap area, thats when i'd be near enouh to stab them. Its not like i can even march that far without being shot. Its like they feel so important when they kick someone :D so they have to find whatever little reason they can

I went on a streak of 52 - 0 with the attack heli on siege and was banned by the admin because 20 of the 52 kills were on him and he was butt hurt by it all ... His server was closed the day later due to repeated reports of unfair abuse of the admin powers ... Personal victory

I was on zavod and sniping on the C building. The enemy was coming from B to C and I shot admin so many times. He told me I was hacking and replied I was good. He said all kinds of nasty things about my mom. I got pissed when he talked about my mom I personally t bagged every time I killed only him. He tried to ram a helicopter into me but I avoided and he crashed. I texted more trash at him. He then banned me but he was removed for the same reason. Felt so good.

Funniest salt I ever got on BF4 was when I was in the LAV, helping to spawn trap the enemy team on Hainan. One kid (who wasn't the admin but acted like he was) kept messaging me saying he'd "ban my account and brick my Playstation"
My buddy and I got such a laugh out of it we both went Recon and took turns spawnkilling him.

i only ever got banned by an admin in 2142, for shooting him out of the sky, and he made an on the spot rule, no anti-air as he was flying around killing everyone, a group of me and the clan (GGS) at the time jumped on, stood in the middle and fired anti-air everywhere. All of us got banned, we got our clan leader to write to his leader, he got kicked from the clan, our bans removed and when we went on there, had a great game :D

Battlefield needs a handicapping system so that people of equal skill play together and nobody feels like cannon fodder. The game is casual, it’s not professional or Olympic and a lot of players get a miserable experience.

THAT IS anyone with any talent. I've had shitty days where I knew I was playing way under my game(health issues, girlfriend bitchin :-)) then I get KICKED. BUT before I get KICKED I see the score screen and it freezes. I know it's happening, wonder why, but even though I'm TRASH that day, I happen to be top TRASH. I realize after popping back in that they KICKED the guy below me too. literally continuously getting rid of anyone who isn't retarded, three years old, OR handicapped. why play the game if you don't like an uphill battle. I love it when I'm doing good and running over and entire enemy team, by myself. BUT I love it a he'll of a lot more when suddenly I get some real pushback. PEOPLE going ham, out thinking me, adapting to my strategy, OR the best, excellent coordination and teamwork. Badmins have always been the core issue of BF servers and DICE never implemented a reputation system to combat it. I have been banned from every single server for:
+ Being better than everyone on the server.
+ Being a one man army capturing all points single handedly.
+ Constantly reviving and healing faster than the enemy team.
+ Being godly with every single gadget and explosive.
+ Wiping out entire squads with mortars. (Even after nerf patch.)
+ Wiping out entire squads with UCAV. (Before patch)
+ Wiping out entire squads with C4.
I was even banned from a server for camping in one spot on the navy ship in the metal hallway bottlenecking their spawn gunning down the entire team with the LMG and shotgun relentlessly trying to kill me only to get mowed down each time until I ran out of ammo only to do it again. Instead of getting good they banned me instead. This is why I eventually got bored of the game. BF died when BF1 and BF5 came out.

People think you are making accusations because you say things like that. That is why they replied to you regarding the topic of hackusations.
Also I didn't really insult you or comment on your character or personal life. I tried to explain what is likely happening from your point of view based on your comments. I've seen it before where console players make the mistake of assuming I played on console and made accusations and when it was explained to them that it was PC gameplay they understood it was normal thing to see or experience.
Again as I mentioned you should provide proof or reference time stamps in the videos to what you are referring to otherwise people think you are just making baseless accusations. If you did I or others would certainly be able to show you what you might have missed or explain what really happened. Think of it this way, without stuff like that your words like *"Considering ive been playing FPS shooters for close to 20 years, I would say i'm fairly experienced"* are just the same as if I said something like "I'm not cheating and considering I've been playing FPS shooters for close to 20 years, I would say i'm fairly experienced".
I don't know how but I'm unable to get to his comments directly from the video and I can't reply to them when I'm logged in. He isn't blocked and I've never touched his comments so it's either something on TH-cam's end or the user "Kuro The Umbreon" is somehow removing them or has me blocked.

I'm a console player, but I understand how PC has the capability to outperform as far as gameplay goes. I also understand how putting nearly twenty years into games of the FPS genre would garner you "slight" experience. Overall, I lack experience and play on console so I can accept that Ravic's performance is exemplary and that he's legitimate.
I wasn't the one that said that bit about twenty years of experience. It was Kuro's in his attempt to explain why it's impossible for me to be this accurate no matter how good I am. The reference I made to it was pointing out the futility of that kind of statement.
It's so sad how, you are so good you can't do a damn thing without being accused of some sort of hacking. I play console and pc, I prefer pc. I've done my fair share of simple aimbotting on some old console games but when I switch to pc, simply with the mouse and keyboard I feel more overpowered than the aimbot. The jittery and very quick movements are so simple and easy when you have a high dpi mouse. I'm sure you have a large monitor which makes it easier too. Or smaller for shorter screen times which is why I'm assuming you can full rotate so quick. However my aim is so much more snappy with a mouse than a controller it's unfair. I see why people falsely accuse you, they just aren't that good. ;). I would love to see you play a real hacker and kick his ass.

Me and some friends rouletted ourselves onto a server that kept kicking us because we were using rockets to take down the admins in helicopters, despite rockets being banned so they COULD spam heli kills. I swear- this was what killed this series for me- the servers were just unbearably bad. You find something marked "official" and get kicked even if you absolutely suck at the game like I do.
Got called a hacker and all sorts of names for using Type-88 LMG on a bipod.

Salty Admin. I bought BF4 last week - it was on sale (PS4). On my first day playing, I got banned from one of the servers for not rushing. I guess trying to get to grips with the controls and how the game works is offensive, lol. But it's okay, as my friend and myself owned a couple of games, being top players, on winning team. The game is still good, but some servers are run by hopeless fuckwits, I guess. Btw, what was that shotgun? Pure ownage :)

every time i watch tactics vids it reminds me of my first ever bf4 match where I went 6-15 but then got banned from the server for hacking
Ok can someone please explain me the differences from Official, Ranked and Unranked servers.
Official servers are severely capped in what settings they can change. In other words, they have more standarized rules (e.g. no crazy high number of tickets)
Ranked marked servers have alot more options that are allowed to be changed and they are NOT used for "Play Now" connections.
In both Official and Ranked servers, you can progress your soldier (e.g. earn points, rank up, unlock weapons)
Unranked servers can pretty much do whatever they want...and can even unlock all weapons & attachments for all players, but while playing on these type of servers you will not earn points and will not rank up or unlock any of your own weapons.

I got banned from a server today for stupid reasons also,the admin had only two rules to play on his server and they were
1:Noobs only(even though he was rank 140?)
2:No C4
I thought it was a strange set of rules but I quickly realised what he was doing,he had a server full of noobs who didn't have a clue what they were doing whilst he just sat back in his spawn in the mobile anti air every single game racking up piss easy kills.So I made it my mission to repeatedly sneak up behind him and C4 his AA tank over and over again until his butthurt became too much and he banned me,couldn't handle someone foiling his little operation he had going.This server admins are plain cancer pure and simple.

Yea I remember joining one of those games I was like rank 7 and there were like 4 guys with a high rank (I forgot there ranks) and everybody else in the server were low ranks I just told everybody to leave the server..they didn't listen

@@bobmcboblin True when I first started bf4 I was lvl 5 and got a 100 kill game and got banned from a noob server for "smurfing lol" when It was literally my 3rd game ever playing bf4 at that point...

I got banned from a server for using a stinger to shoot down a chopper. The server message should say " if you refuse to stand still and let our choppers kill you we will ban you".
Ok stinger use is bad, but not op. Low damage, low speed. Even for a lock on.
But they probably wanted chopper kills. Fucking noobs.

Ravic is easily one of the most slept on BF4 players of all time his aim is pretty nutty and he’s got good game sense bums me out that low level players can affect good players like this

Typhoon Lex Modified choke, normal 12G, laser. Tends to be the sweet spot between having tight spread when hip firing and using ADS.

Animation bug, you'll see it often when using a shotgun while ADS in the game.

I remember using an 870 MCS in Metro conquest on a server where it was explicitly stated 'No shotguns'.
Suffice to say, I got the most kills I have ever got in a game. Over 130. Next match I killed an admin and got kicked. :/

My favorite example is by the German TH-camr GerThunderlord, when he had the idea to shoot a homing missile and a guided missile at the enemy helicopter, which used flares against the homing missile and didn't realize that the second missile was guided. There was an admin in the helicopter and Thunderlord and his co-pilot were banned from the server.
