Turns out, Lofts don't like JoinCurves as paths, and give this error. Using the RealThunder version 0.21 I tried doing a Subtract Loft to clean up an edge. The (Curves Workbench) Join Curve tool, which I swear I've used before in a similar context, was used to correctly define the filleting path. But, 'twere not to be. Truth be told, the RealThunder Freecad has before broken things between editions, so that may be the problem. Thanks for your great work on Freecad. You, Mango Jelly and a few of the FEM guys (Anisim, in German, but still great) constitute the leading lights for really useful tutorials.
These short clips remind me so much about Dr. B's channel (Wayne Breslyn on youtube), he makes short videos like this for chemistry students. He has like 500k subscribers. I really really look forward to using your videos as I develop my skills in FreeCAD. Please keep it up if it all makes sense to do so
I have this error most of the time with points that are visually overlapping, often even still fully constraint into that position, but still not connected by a constraint. And I always wish in these cases that FreeCAD would offer something to find "open ends" instead of only yelling at me : (
What have I done wrong? "ERROR" OK, what's the error? "ERROR" Yes, I already know that, but what IS the error? "ERROR" Aw c'MON, I've got seventy three constraints here and one 'dof' here, what am I doin wrong?! "ERROR" WTF?? "ERROR"
@@dennisloobman8013 One of the worst things FreeCAD does in a few cases is the Report View (or whatever the error log panel was named) saying: error, check report view...

Thanks for your insights here and words as well.
My error was that two of my consecutive profiles shared the same vertex, so I had to separate them.
Thanks for the video.
