I always loved the idea of one hander and shield but I mever liked being a tank per say, does abolisher put out decent dps? Like obviously I know they are tankyy and therefore wont do as much as say a dark runner but is it still viable to play? Also can you post your skill tree. Thanks
the thing is that the only real dmg loss you have for dps is the 2h/dual wield set bonus (and in the case 2h you lose that extra dps) and the extra dps synthesis effects like defence pen/crit rate/crit dmg altrough the shield synthesis are very good aswell just not for dps. Its essentially dual wield without the atk speed buff which is totally fine in terms of damage output. I would argue that currently the tankyness part is the one suffering because everyone is running around with epic weapons alredy and i havent had the time to focus on upgrading armor since theres 7 pieces to upgrade compared to 1 for weapon. its still very viable as a hybrid class imo and only gets better later when the tankiness hits in properly with upgraded armor and proper magic def crystals. for large scale i swap out lasso for imprison imgur.com/a/jex1CJ0
@@aethostheangel8901 Theres not really any stat to main on abolisher, im running a 60% 40% split for strenght/stamina and stuff like toughness,resilience magic defence you just max out the best you can aka gems. obiosly only run magic defence if you are going plate
Good montage. What's your build/armor ??? I'm planning on playing blighter/Abolisher open world. And is going 70% of my stats strength and 30% Stam a good split? (I intend to alternate between builds blighter/abolisher/hexblade
If you want to be somewhat tanky i would say you need atleast a 35% 75% split. im currently running 40% 60% split. Its hard to talk about builds this early in the game but i plan on going 5 libary and rest hiram
@@mauuku do you feel like you do enough damage ?(even without any kind of gear advantage?) **this is still about stat distribution** since I'm currently doing 70/30 do you think I'll be squishy ?
@@jcitizen7649 You wont be squishy as long as you have decent magic defence with plate (every other armor choise is just pure trash atm for tanks) and build your crystals with mostly tankiness in mind. rn im lacking in those stats like resilience and tougness so i feel really squishy to mages that crit all day long but thats gonna be a problem regardless of stamina. My dmg is fine, the only thing i struggle with is plate wearers (mby do like 50% with full combo to the same gs player) so plate mages are pretty much an impossible matchup
its not bad and not great, with the current state of the game it doesnt really live up to its potential because its really hard to be tanky even with full stamina build let alone a hybrid build, which you pretty much need to run as abolisher. on leveling and farming its aight
