I’m a little concerned about the narrator. Sounds like he’ll pass out if he doesn’t get a good breath or two.

The narrator is Len Cariou, the actor that played Tom Selleck's father on the TV series Blue Bloods. He's kind of got that old guy, gruff kind of voice. And he was a bit older when he narrated this, about 69 or 70.

Apart from the first few minutes, audio quality was fine to me.

You could go buy the audio book and I imagine the audio quality would be perfect. When you go the free route you get what you get.
