    One of the biggest wasted talents in boxing history. Ibeabuchi was a beast in his prime and he could have been a great fighter if he was able to stay on the straight and narrow. Still though in the few fights he did have he displayed great technique and punching power. www.patreon.com/haNZAgod

    One of the top 5 most talented heavyweights to never win a world title. This guy had it all, chin, speed, heart, strength and will. Really annoys me to see his career destroyed because of his mental issues and he just left so many questions unanswered. But, great video and love how the music fits well with how Ibeabuchi fights.

      @Brian p That's the way in pro boxing. Too many promoters/managers/trainers see boxers as things that make them money, rather than people.
      I remember Lou Di Bella helped Michael Bennett, the former world amateur champion, to get a job after he went 10-4 in his first 14 fights. He wasn't made for the pro game and his promoter put him first ahead of making money. It was a rare act of class and compassion from a promoter/manager.

      Man, dude ain't been in Nigeria since about 94'😂...
      You really think he would be able to cope in Nigeria?
      Not sure if you live there or been there recently, not saying he wouldn't be able to adapt to the enviroment but it's a different world out there..
      Then the state of local Nigerian sports (boxing included) is in a bad state. No up to date training equipment, epileptic power so you're training in places where there's little to no ventilation, dilapidated structures, etc. Then the wages as meagre as they are sometimes not paid for months at a time..
      I could go on and on, he'd be better off staying where he's at, the Nigerian boxing Federation might drive the man to suicide😟

    Definitely one of the biggest "What ifs" in all of boxing. I think Ike may have been able to take down Lennox Lewis potentially if he didn't go to prison. He kind of reminds me of Tyson, not just in style/power but in terms of that "What if" question. What if Tyson kept Rooney, didn't go to prison and remained serious about boxing?

    • @hanzagod
      @hanzagod  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      He certainly had a chance but I'd still take Lewis in that one personally. I think Ibeabuchi beats them all apart from Vitali and Lennox. Definitely good enough to win a title.

    you get a lot of "could've beens": people who - if they hadn't had a major flaw (like a glass chin) - could've been great (Morrison couldve been greatER); you get some "should'a beans": people who should've been better by controllable means (Golota, Tyson, Buster Douglas); Ike was a "would've been", he would've without a doubt in my mind been a champ
