    The symbol of Nataraj has a meaning. It tries to say that the dancer and the dance are not two things . So long as the dancer is there the dance is also there. It tries to say that the creator and its creation are not two things . They are one. So one should not try to separate them . when the creator and the creation are one, a different term can be given, that is creativity. So GOD is creativity. Dance is the creation, and the dancer is the creator. Hence the word creativity.

      Thanks. My understanding is that creation is the movement of the Self. Destruction is the absence of that movement. Siva symbolise both creation and destruction. The Self is Siva, the movement id Shakti or motive power. Their union is creation, a concept brought closer to home by the depiction of the Lingam (phallus) and Yoni (womb) in the Siva Lingam statues. This shows the male, female duality in creation. This idea again finds expression in the Ardhanarishvara - half male (Siva), half female (Shakti) split down the middle - half bronze, half brass statues. I think this depiction while asserting the duality in creation goes beyond to show that both Shakti and Siva are one not separate - the position of Advaita.

      +Bharat Jobanputra it implies that we can be one with Shiva in the heart, and take part in the cosmic dance, since the dancer and the dance (creation) are one. Shiva also destroys ignorance and evil, dancing joyfully in defiance to the oppresive powers in the world. So the statue of him crushing the dwarf (ego) could also mean that he destroys evil and its manifestations, in order to purify the universe and start anew (creation). So its like a cosmic cycle, or Yuga. Now we're in the Kali Yuga, so Shiva's dance is destructive (divine destruction, not the destructivity of the evil ones). Shiva is actually a very complex and multifaceted symbol

The fear lived is an undeniable experience and lived fear thenon to trigger other activities, born but of a misperception, which perception as having becoming a seed to all newborn actions and thoughts, build in the individual a potential world of misperceptions lived as a reality, which as a life may endlessly continue cyclically as life and death , i.e a falsity can't die of its own until corrected.

We never attacked and spread our religion through wars. We accepted people from every religion and they thrived in ancient India. But the media has portrayed us as some barbarians with caste system. Neither expect the cessation of Dukkha or suffering. It is the price we must forever pay for our awareness in this relative world. Hinduism is a deeply symbolic set of philosophies. Take this, for instance:
    "In our legends it is said that the goddess Ganga’s descent from the heavens would have split the earth had Lord Shiva not tamed her torrent by tying it into his ash-smeared locks. To hear this story is to see the river in a certain way: as a heavenly braid, for instance, an immense rope of water, unfurling through a wide and thirsty plain. That there is a further twist to the tale becomes apparent only in the final stages of the river’s journey-and this part of the story always comes as a surprise, because it is never told and thus never imagined. It is this: there is a point at which the braid comes undone; where Lord Shiva’s matted hair is washed apart into a vast, knotted tangle. Once past that point the river throws off its bindings and separates into hundreds, maybe thousands, of tangled strands."
    - Excerpt from The Hungry Tide by Amitav Ghosh on the Sunderbans Delta.

      @ Absolutely not. Luciferianism has taken the symbolism of hinduism and perverted it to its opposite in many cases.
      It makes a joke out of the religion just like christian churches and institutions have been perverted by evil people and the media has demonized christianity. Doesn't mean christianity is evil and doesn't mean hinduism is evil.
      You are being decieved.
      The suspicious people of CERN are "playing god" (associating with shiva) and misinterpret (or mock) hinduism. They are deluded materialist atheists and/or luciferianists. So yes. Luciferians may be behind the choice of this imagery. I can agree on that. But a satanist could also use christian imagery in order to give jesus a bad name.
      Remember...
      "You will know them by the fruits of their labor"
      And
      "Satan always presents himself as an angel of light".
      Don't rely simply on imagery.

      Because the science of quantum physics demonstrates and proves that the world is, in fact, both: material and non-material. Subatomic particles cannot be seen, they can only be experienced. Hadron Collider studies and documents traces left behind by accelerated particles. No one can see the actual particles, the properties can be described. It's pretty much what the Dancing Shiva depicts: the Universe and we are made of the same stuff - energy particles which are in constant motion. This is why the statue is placed where it is. For a very good reason. Indian mythology and European science meet here and understand one another. The Collider scientifically confirms that the Indian understanding of the nature of the Universe as depicted by Dancing Shiva is correct.

    • @pradeep11110

      The symbolism in Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer, explains the basis of all. The realms of Energy and that of the Mind are to be experienced for realising the Truth. Nothing but the combination of both, the Consciousness is the reason for everything. Perhaps Modern Physics is still trying to master the realm of Energy. The dancing Shiva reminds the scientists of CERN and elsewhere that there is so much work remaining and they need to be alert and attentive. They can't rest till the goal is reached.
      The relevant mantra is,
      "Uthishtata, Jagrata, Prapyavara Nobodhata".

    I am always amazed when I read comments about the placement of the Shiva statue at CERN, as if that was some demonic homage. So obvious is its formal connection to the site's geometry: CERN is a very large ring, and this dancing Shiva is inscribed within a bounding circle. Why is that so difficult to get? That is not its only symbolic reference but clearly it is a part of its relevance. There is a far richer symbolic connection in relation to that specific placement of the Shiva, but not many people are knowledgeable with Hindu deities, the concept of archetypes, materiality and non-materiality etc.

    My understanding of the nataraja symbol (everytime I see it) is that the eternal dance of nataraja represnting the eternal cosmic dance in the macroscopic scale of stellar objects to the microscopic scale of atomic particles. Not simply a dance but such a graceful, artistic periodic motions. Just imagine in a single picture, the harmonic movement of sub atomic particles across atoms, atoms making objects, objects moving on planets, satellites across planets, planets across stars, stars in galaxy, galaxies in space. And not for a finite period of time but for eternity and thus the gigantic amount of energy this universe possess And a tiny human mind (which seems an invisible point in the scale of space and universe) contemplating this grandeur. And all this makes me adore and bow before the idol not by submission but by pure admiration. There are two emotions of nataraja's dance as I know. The aananda tandava which is a dance of joy which signifies motion and life on universe and the rudra tandava (the angry, violent dance) which represents destruction of universe in form of explosions and collisions. In one line, the idol explaining all the science of motion, energy, creation, destruction. How spirituality melds and merges with science. Can never stop admiring and reverring it

    • @talk2kumar
      @talk2kumar 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      God=Sada Shiva(=Brahman/Adi Shakti/Maha Vishnu/Brahma): Sanatan(eternal) dharma(now HINDUISM):
      ==========================================================================================
      God is one Sada Shiva(Brahman), everything derived from one god(sada shiva). Sada Shiva(Brahman) represents the unmanifest(unmanifestation) and Ma Adi Shakti(energy form) the manifestation of same(it is called universe). Shiva the formless and Shakti the formed of same. Shiva consciousness and Shakti energy, not only in the cosmos as a whole but in each and every individual. The roots of Shakti are in Shiva. Though one is manifested and the other unmanifested, they are in the ultimate sense one and the same One is the principle of changelessness and the other, the principle of change- Shakti is change within changelessness while Shiva is changelessness as the root of change. The experience of perfect unity of the changeless and the changeable, the dissolution of duality, is the aim of Tantra, and thus of Yoga.
      Universe expanding and collapsing, it is a infinite cycle no end no beginning. Universe will be destroy/disappear/transform to nonexistence(non-manifestation) and again recreate to come to existence(manifestation). it is not single big bang, it is cycle of many big bang. The whole creation is the dance of one consciousness (Shiva/Brahman). The one consciousness danced and manifested(called Ma Adi Shakti) into a million species and objects in the universe. So this infinite creation is the dance of Shiva/Brahman Tandav. The whole world is a place of Shiva/Brahman. you can imagin shiva(Brahman) like shiva(right half) and shakti(left half). we called Shiva trasformer/destroyer of everythings in universe and universe itself. Ma Adi Shakti Mother's(you can imagine it as power, force, energy or in idol/image, which is in manifestation form) part of it divided/separated itself into Vishnu forms. Vishnu form(Vishnu, part of Brahman, it is Brahman) is for managing/preserving the universe. Vishnu form(Vishnu) created Brahma form(Brahma, part of Brahman, it is Brahman) before time exist. Brahma form(Brahma) created everything in universe and again Shiva(Brahman) will destroy/transfrom the universe to recreate it from beginning. Mathematically it is perfect circle, any point can be taken as starting point and ending point. so it has no end and not beginning.
      There is a force(is part of adi shakti(energy)), which is balancing this universe every day today, so it exist in every one consisousness and outside, this force is called Vishnu form. now Vishnu is preserving the universe and descending to planet in incarnation/avatar. Brahma is past of universe, who created it. All forms are Ultimate truth(Brahman/Shiva). Shiva(Brahman) is farmless, anatham(infinite), omnipresent and eternal.it is beyond your knowledge and understanding. Shiva(Brahman) has no parents and have no birth and death either. she/he/it is infinite and eternal beyond birth and death reminder.
      so everything created in this universe are from energy and from that energy panchatava(five basic elements) created. Those 5 basic elements further proprsenat into all matter(which is visible) around us in this universe.
      It is impossible to imagine God(sada shiva) as it is staying out of space and time as well as every where(in universe) in the form of energy. but still if we want to imagine it as per information available , god will be like sun and spread across every where in infinite direction like sun light but sun light will look like vacuum/nothing. universe is created/manifested from nothing and disappear/destroyed/deleted into nothing. there is one form kalavirava(manifestation of shiva), which is destroyer of time, to recreate it again. where you thing nothing exist, god exist.
      Understand as human what are thing in god control in details:
      1. Lord Shiva’s Damru symbol meaning:=> Universe expanding and collapsing, it is a infinite cycle creation and distruction of universe, it has no end no begining. The two sides of the drum separated from each other by a thin neck-like structure represents the two utterly different states of existence, unmanifest and manifest. When a damaru is shaken, it produces Nada(is the source of creation), the cosmic sound of AUM, which can be heard during deep meditation.
      2. Unclad body smeared with ashes:=> This form of Lord Shiva symbolizes the transcendental aspect of his nature and indicates that his presence is much higher than this physical phenomenon. The ashes on the Lord's body is cemetery ash, which points to the philosophy of the life and death and shows that death is the ultimate reality of the life. Most things in the universe reduce to ashes when burned and this aspect of nature is suggested by the ash-smeared appearance of Lord Shiva, who is held to be the God of destruction
      3. Shiva’s third eye:=> Desire is in his control and the rejection of desire. It is the eye that killed Kama. Desire not only evokes positive emotions (love, affection, contentment, compassion), it also evokes negative emotions (anger, dissatisfaction, sorrow). Shiva therefore shies away from it, preferring the cold still mountains which represent the state of transcendence - where there is just stillness, silence and bliss. While his other two eyes indicate his activity in the physical world, his third eye in the center of his forehead looks beyond the obvious. It stands for spiritual knowledge and power, and is thus called the eye of wisdom or knowledge. Like fire, the powerful gaze of Shiva's third eye can search evil from anywhere and annihilate it completely. This is the reason why evil-doers fear his third eye.
      4. Half-Open Eyes:=> The half-open eyes of Lord Shiva convey the idea that the cycle of universe is in process. When the Lord opens His eyes a new cycle of creation begins and when He closes them it signifies the destruction of the universe for creation of the next cycle.
      5. Shiva wearing snake/Serpent as necklace:=> controls time, fear and death by wearing snake as ornament, it(he, she and matter, i.e., shiva) is independent of time, fear and death. Three rounds around Lord Shiva's neck depicts future, present and past. Shiva(Brahman) is Independent of Time and controls time. The snake looking in the right direction of Lord Shiva signifies that the Lord's perpetual laws of reason and justice preserve natural order in the universe.
      6. Tiger Skin:=> he is the master of Shakti(power and energy) and is beyond and above any kind of force. The Lord's sitting on Tiger skin indicates that he has conquered lust. Lord Shiva is the source of the creative energy that remains in potential form during the dissolution state of the universe. He activates this energy using his own Divine Will to project the universe in endless cycles.
      7. The Elephant and Deer Skin:=> Elephants stand in for pride while deer represent the flickering mind. Wearing elephant and deer skin shows that Lord Shiva has conquered both these vices.
      8. Shiva Tandav:=> The whole creation is the dance of one consciousness (Shiva). The one consciousness danced and manifested into a million species in the world. So this infinite creation is the dance of Lord Shiva or Shiva Tandav. The whole world is a place of Shiva.
      9. Lord Shiva’s Trishul (Trident) :=> Trishul represents the three aspects of consciousness - it represents the three gunas - satva, rajas and tamas. Holding a trishul (Trident) signifies that Shiva (the divinity) is above all the three states, yet is the upholder of these three states. It also signifies His power to destroy evil and ignorance. it is also symbolizes it three fundamental powers iccha(will), kriya(action) and jnana(knowledge).
      10. Kundalas:=> the kundala in the left ear of the Lord is of the type used by women and the one in His right ear is of the type used by men. The dual type of Kundalas represent the Shiva and Shakti (male and female) principle of creation.
      11. Crescent Moon on Lord Shiva’s Head:=> Wisdom is beyond the mind, but it needs to be expressed with a tinge of mind and this is symbolized by the crescent moon on head.
      12. Jata (Matted Hair):=> The flow of his matted hair represents Shiva as the Lord of Wind or Vayu, who is the subtle form of breath present in all living beings.
      13. Sacred Ganga :=> During the dark moonless night, you might have seen that a very long River like scene of billions of Stars as if flowing from north to south can be seen in the sky.
      It is a column of stars & carries 2/3 rd of total weight of the Milky way(akash ganga). This is how, it holds the rest of the Galaxy in stable state. Hence it has been stated, that Lord sada Shiva holds “GANGA” on His Head.
      This pouring from Aakash Ganga also serves as “PRAN VARSHA (ENERGY RAIN)” or "soul". It keeps all the creatures living on Mother Earth alive & activated. If this “PRAN VARSHA’’ stops even for a moment, the entire Mother Earth shall become the Mortuary.
      also Ganga means knowledge; knowledge that purifies your soul. Head is always the symbol of knowledge. Knowledge is liberating, knowledge brings freedom, knowledge is purifying. All these are the characteristics of knowledge. Knowledge is also movement/motion. So Ganga (knowledge) has to come out of Lord Shiva’s (the divinity’s) head and the bestower of knowledge, purity and peace.
      14. Nandi:=> Bull has been used as a symbol of dharma (righteousness) from a long time, throughout the world. Lord Shiva riding on the bull simply means that when you are righteous and truthful, the infinite consciousness, the innocent consciousness is with you.

    • @talk2kumar
      @talk2kumar 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      15. Rudraksha Necklace:=> wearing a necklace having 108 beads made with seeds of the Rudraksha tree. The beads represent the elements used in the creation of the world. The word 'Rudra' means "strict or uncompromising" and aksha means "eye." It illustrates the fact that Lord Shiva is firm about His cosmic laws and strictly maintains law and order in the universe.
      16. Vibhuti:=> It signifies the Immortality of the Lord and his manifested glory.
      17. Mount Kailash:=> The abode of Shiva is in Mount Kailasa, and the smashana (the cremation ground). Kailasa means 'where there is only celebration', and smashana is where there is only void. The Divinity dwells in the void as well as in celebration. And in you there is void, in you there is celebration.
      18. Shiva Linga :=> Lingam means identification, a symbol through which you can identify what the truth is, what the reality is. What is not visible but yet can be identified by one thing, that is lingam. Similarly, how do you identify the Lord of this Creation? He has no form! So then they said that there should be a sign to identify Him. So the sign, by which you identify both the male and female forms, combining them both to form one single symbol to identify the Lord who has no form or identity; who is all pervading in this entire Brahmanda (Creation), is Shiva Lingam. From the form, you go to the formless, through the Shiva Linga. It is a symbol that is the representation of the cosmos and the creator of the cosmos, as one.
      It is the Shiva and the Shakti, the two principles in the creation. The silent un-manifest and the dynamic manifestation together are represented as Shiva Linga. Shiva Linga is not just Shiva, but the completion of the total Supreme Consciousness.

However it does not matter where you found the depiction on earth but do matter that you found it. Now its time to spread these knowledge to people of our kind. Lord siva found you! You are greatly blessed! Thanks for this video

      lord shiva found you? you sound like a brainwashed christian. India is a country of seekers not believers. at least it used to be when it wasnt totally corrupted.
      And the tiny bit that is left over from Indias history and wasnt destroyed gets destroyed by ur crude beliefs now? Whats wrong with our world, every idiot thinks hes an expert in what he says. I dont know it 100% either but at least I say so. You sound like a fucking christian missionary looking for new believer victims. I hope im wrong but India follows the west in every step anyway these days. They are the pets of the west and lost their great nation in dirt and a dark future when they began to run behind americans and europeans. When they accepted they are 2nd class humans. When they accepted their whole country is corrupt. when their highest goal became money and not liberation. Im rly disapointed in my fathers country. I can understand that the horrors of centuries that English fucks caused must have been so horrible i cannot imagine it (i saw pictures of Brits forcing Indians to kill their cows, who were like family members to them, then make a boat out of their bladder just for the amusement of some psychopath brits). But is that really the way India wants to go now?
      Is that the way u try to reestablish any sense respect for India? Guess what, it wont work since u arent even an Indian. Ur a half western and half nothing.
      Go learn about history. Go fast. Learn how Indian knowledge was destroyed by the brit invasion and how they ruined the nation systematically so they can rule it.

      But don't let it poison your Life any more than it has to. You have some reasons to be angry but you will not let it define you and you must live on.

      damm man.Tamils....when will you guys elevate your level of consciousness beyond 'that' small temporary, worldly, identity of being "Tamil"... at least in topics of spirituality stop spamming your Tamil pride references (or for that matter "Indian" “identity” “pride”)... what do we understand by Universal or cosmic, nobody “finds” anybody in cosmos.. Nobody is “lost” in cosmos.

    Note: Despite what it might sound like Huxley is saying, Shiva is not ever dancing in joy for any situation. He dances on the corpses of his defeated enemies, and to give himself ..the frequency to pass through dimensional portals.

    He does not mention the ribbon tied to the statue's waist which reaches out to fire. What does this mean?
    Does it suggest that we will all succumb to destruction, even though Shiva creates and destroys? Does it let us know that no matter how much we try to understand things, we will ultimately end in fire?

    • @nikhilsukumar23

      Existence even after death is the reality... everything is a way to find the ultimate... destruction has neen happening for eons... but we are nothing but everything... nothing is separate... its one... and that one is joy... not destruction

    Upon first glance this is what I see;
    Shiva is inside a "Throne", a "Wheel", the Orbs of "Fire" described across various religions. The Ophanim choir within Christianity. He has wings similar to the ones depicted in Egyptian and Babylonian hieroglyphs regarding the "Sun discs". In Norse mythology even the gods couldn't stand against "Surtr" of Múspell, the "Fiery realm" .

    As an English Literature student from India, I often read about English authors and then end up listening to their ideology about my own religion. Before it was Yeats, now its Huxley.

    The trinity of supreme divinity in Hinduism in

    of deities typically 1.Bramha the creator,2.Vishnu

      EXODUS 20:4 THERE IS A REASON GOD MAKES IT QUITE CLEAR WHY NOT TO MAKE ANY IMAGES OF HIM. BECAUSE THE DEVIL HAS THE POWER TO TAKE EVERY SHAPE AND FORM. I WITNESSED IT FIRST HAND 28 YEARS AGO TRYING TO SECURE A RECORD CONTRACT. SHIVA WAS THE DEVIL MANIFESTING ITSELF IN THE FLESH JUST LIKE ALL THE GREEK AND ROMAN gods WERE.

      +bill blyth , - Shivas 'dance of destruction' is actually over the top of demons, symbolising victory over human ignorance.
      so having Shiva at CERN would represent a symbolic meaning that the collider will assist mankind in over coming
      his ignorance of the his understanding of the universe......but as i said its all symbolic, just like all versions of mythology through the ages.

      because scientists fear that their experiment will make black whole and it will destroy the whole earth so to protect earth they worship the destroyer and creator of the universe Lord Shiva so their experiment go well.....

      Video works, because Dancing Shiva represents and depicts the dance of subatomic particle from which everything is composed, including you. The Collider scientifically proves their existence, studies their properties and behaviour.. Particles cannot be seen only experienced.
