I grew up listening to Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Skillet, Breaking Benjamin... I actually started listening to Static X not that long ago, when I was around 11 (2006/2007) but the very first band I got into it was definitely them. It's a joy to see that many bands that started making music in the late 90's and became huge names in the early 2000's are still around. They change and evolve but never forget thieir roots, making our generation feel so young again! There are many good artists around when it comes to rock and metal, but damn, this kind of alternative/underground music won't ever die. While pop music ruined people and music in general, we are the survivors, the rebels. So long live rock and roll! 🤘🏻
A masterpice, Wayne ist everywere in this song. It has a speedfull dynamic guitar Sound. Very emotionality . I am a Fan from Germany since 2001. Missing that Sound... Dope does a great job. RIP Wayne
This gave me chills. Wayne was my fucking idol. First concert I ever went to was Wisconsin Death Trip tour, while Dope was on stage, I'm standing on a balcony with my friends at the venue (9:30 in DC) and I feel one of my friends hit my arm, I look over to see what's up and KOICHI IS STANDING LESS THAN A FOOT AWAY FROM ME. He noticed that we recognized him (Early WDT days not everyone knew what the rest of the band looked like, and sadly a lot of people were there for Powerman 5000) and turned to us and kind of shrugged and said "Do you like these guys?" and I was like "eh, they're okay. I'm here for YOU though" It was a fucking phenomenal show, and one of the only bands that sounded just as good, if not better, live. A lot of bands are a let down without the studio processing, but Static X was amazing. Caught them again later that year at Ozzfest and they were even more amazing (I think it was the energy of the venue and the crowd being easily 20 times larger) It was so cool getting to meet Koichi at my very first concert as an adult (I turned 18 just before the tickets went on sale and got them for my birthday) and I still have the long sleeve tour shirt
I remember first discovering Static X when playing Need for Speed Underground on the PlayStation 2. Been hooked ever since! Wayne's talent will be missed nobody quite like him thats for sure.
The band is keeping and will keep Wayne alive. It doesn't matter who xerO is, he is Wayne's memory and this is alive with us. SO MUCH RESPECT FOR STATIC X!
I think this is my new favorite Static X song. It's so hard for me to pick a fav one. RIP Wayne. I hope to see ya in the Metalhead section of heaven ❤❤ I was/am an idiot for not seeing y'all live. 🙏🤘🤘Forever!!!! ❤ To all the fans, too.
Wasn't entirely sure about this album being a good idea when i first heard about it, but now having heard the whole thing repeatedly, this is the best thing the guys could have ever done! Cannot wait for Vol. 2
I saw Static -X in Nottingham UK 2019 live, one of my best concert in my life, Xer0 was amazing on stage...what a show and energy, This album is proof Wayne is Immortal!!! Thank you guys for this awesome album!
I can't thank you enough for giving Wayne a true sendoff! The tour was incredible and the new music truly makes me feel like Wayne was still here the first time I listened. Fantastic work!!
Really cool video love the electric pulses/flashes. The guy who edited Wayne did a more than fantastic job. Amazing when you'd think it would sound dated with the era the vocals were originally recorded in but it just sounds soo fresh!. My favourite bit is 2:50 to 2:57. Love that line he sings. Really hope they carry on after the whole Project Regeneration.
New stuff is ok ! Starting to like it ! Wayne would too. Watched you guys live and the new singer is good he will find himself/wayne soon enough. Ill stay here listening to you in my head, always looking for my headphones.
I think Static X as a band has done an incredible job respecting Wayne while pressing forward. Most bands just give up but they honor his memory by finding someone who sounds just like him and has the same mannerisms as Wayne. Very impressive
The songs are using his last recording so its still Waynes voice, but yeah the person on the front did very well doing Waynes mannerisms I gotta agree.
Wayne really had a unique bouncy sway about him when he was playing, and Xer0 does a pretty much perfect job emulating it. Also the song kicks ass. LONG LIVE EVIL DISCO 🤘🏻
Words can’t describe the feels this song, video, and entirety of the new album give me. I wanna headbang but can’t stop the tears. This is how you fkn immortalize someone. This is how you honor a memory. This is how you respect the music. Other bands should take note. ❤️ RIP Wayne. Immortal forever in our souls
Great comment man 👏Sums up how I feel about it all...20+ years of Static X in my life, so grateful 💎 Xer0 & the band have selflessly created an incredible legacy for Wayne & I hope they realise how deeply they've impacted those of us who have basically clung to Wayne's entire ethos to get us thru, all these years 🤘
Man, the memories this brings back. The first time I saw Static X was on 4/14/2000 at Slim's in San Francisco with Pitchshifter. My buddy and I were just rolling into town in his absolutely mint Chevelle and who do we see just strolling down the sidewalk but Wayne Static. We immediately pulled over and went up to him. He was so laid back and gracious. He was enamored with my friend's car, was checking it out, and just kept complimenting him about it. We each took a picture with him, thanked him for his time and told him how much we were looking forward to the show that night. They put on an awesome show that evening, I'll never forget that entire day. RIP Wayne, you were one helluva nice guy and treated your fans right.
Idk if they had previous video recordings of Wayne performing this song or they literally just generated it but its really amazing work with the X symbol mask. Think how cool this would be if they pull this off on stage.
Nothing more heavy metal than bringing a dead guys voice back to life … Hard to Watch without getting a little choked up … Wisconsin Death Trip makes me think of that summer when the Push Video came on Late night … I was hooked ever since … Not sure if that CD left the Player or the Visor … Brings back such good memories … Soundtrack to our lives … Wayne our Fallen Brother of Heavy Metal … Horns up to you my friend … Glad I at least got to see them Live at Ozzfest … You all Crushed it
So fucking proud and happy about what Tony, Ken, and Koichi have done and are doing. Edsel is doing a kickass job on the vocals and guitars when he kicks in on other tracks. The entire album sounds like what should’ve come your after Start A War. Cannibal was nice, but these songs all fit in between better. Long live the King of Evil Disco. Still missing you like hell, Wayne. 💜🤘⚡️

There are many good artists around when it comes to rock and metal, but damn, this kind of alternative/underground music won't ever die. While pop music ruined people and music in general, we are the survivors, the rebels. So long live rock and roll! 🤘🏻
Wayne's conciousness was just uploaded to a surrogate body. So he lives on forever.
This put a giant stupid grin on my face. Thank you tony ken and koichi for making this happen. Wayne static is immortal
I wanna thank NFS Underground for introducing me to Static X. From the age of 8 to 25, they still live on. Keep rockin'.
Пожалуй еще раз 100 гляну перед сном)
A masterpice, Wayne ist everywere in this song. It has a speedfull dynamic guitar Sound. Very emotionality . I am a Fan from Germany since 2001. Missing that Sound... Dope does a great job.
RIP Wayne
Only Wayne Static could still put out bangers from the grave. Good job on you guys for this. It’s amazing and he would love it
I love how they honor Wayne. Killer fucking album!
I'm here for YOU though"
It was a fucking phenomenal show, and one of the only bands that sounded just as good, if not better, live. A lot of bands are a let down without the studio processing, but Static X was amazing. Caught them again later that year at Ozzfest and they were even more amazing (I think it was the energy of the venue and the crowd being easily 20 times larger)
It was so cool getting to meet Koichi at my very first concert as an adult (I turned 18 just before the tickets went on sale and got them for my birthday) and I still have the long sleeve tour shirt
I'm a simply men. I see Static-X, i press the Like Button. Love it.
I remember first discovering Static X when playing Need for Speed Underground on the PlayStation 2. Been hooked ever since! Wayne's talent will be missed nobody quite like him thats for sure.
Were you winning son?
Or were you losing?
The band is keeping and will keep Wayne alive. It doesn't matter who xerO is, he is Wayne's memory and this is alive with us. SO MUCH RESPECT FOR STATIC X!
The King of Evil Disco Wayn static still Rocks even Resting
Wayne lives on forever 🖤
Vaya canción, a pesar de los años siguen teniendo el mismo toque y genialidad en sus canciones, larga vida a wayne.
A POSTAL FAN? Hell yeah! I regret nothing.
@@LoneWandererCollin never regret anything.
Brian Roland I never will. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
My People!!
I saw Static -X in Nottingham UK 2019 live, one of my best concert in my life, Xer0 was amazing on stage...what a show and energy, This album is proof Wayne is Immortal!!! Thank you guys for this awesome album!
Anyone else realize what they were hearing (Wayne's voice), get chills, then start tearing up? Like the day it happened.
I can't thank you enough for giving Wayne a true sendoff! The tour was incredible and the new music truly makes me feel like Wayne was still here the first time I listened. Fantastic work!!
A metal gear fan and a fellow Static-X fan? 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 nice.
Edsel Dope errr Xer0 is doing awesome
I saw Static X 20+ years ago before they were really famous, this makes me so X-static (sorry had to) that Wayne Static can be honored in such a way
Damn, Project Regeneration is great.
When were the vocals recorded exactly ?
@@deceiver444 2004 I believe.
New stuff is ok ! Starting to like it ! Wayne would too. Watched you guys live and the new singer is good he will find himself/wayne soon enough. Ill stay here listening to you in my head, always looking for my headphones.
The humility of Xer0 is amazing. Long live Edsel.
I'd say Rest in peace, But from the sound's of it, he ain' resting. O.o
Haha 😁
I think Static X as a band has done an incredible job respecting Wayne while pressing forward. Most bands just give up but they honor his memory by finding someone who sounds just like him and has the same mannerisms as Wayne. Very impressive
The songs are using his last recording so its still Waynes voice, but yeah the person on the front did very well doing Waynes mannerisms I gotta agree.
Y'all did not have to go this hard omg. Y'all are bringing straight fire this year 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wayne FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you static-x for keeping him alive and rocking keep up the amazing work.
Evil disco will never die. Waynes death will never *bring you down.*
Great comment man 👏Sums up how I feel about it all...20+ years of Static X in my life, so grateful 💎 Xer0 & the band have selflessly created an incredible legacy for Wayne & I hope they realise how deeply they've impacted those of us who have basically clung to Wayne's entire ethos to get us thru, all these years 🤘
Gosh Wayne, we all miss you brother. That voice is one of a kind. Truly. God bless the band for this amazing tribute.
Very grateful today, for being able to witness the return of such a unique band. Wayne Static immortalized, it's just incredible! 🤘🖤
Iconic and now immortal may these sound waves ripple endlessly
I'm glad I bought this CD. Best album ever!
What did the world need amidst this 2020 year of $#!+ .......Wayne bringing us one more blast of Evil Disco.🤘🖤
STATIC FOREVER
Not even death can silence the king of evil disco, what a fucking beast.
This project is done so so well, with every right intent. Thank you so much again for doing this guys ... for us older fans and clearly younger fans from the comments on here.
I think That now I know the definition of inmortality .. long live the static !!!!
Loving these new videos too! And the album is just incredible!
There is definitely a GHOST in the MACHINE!! 🤯
