E46 transmission issues (2004 325i)

No selector indication, cog wheel warning etc

Great video I had same problem with female plug .one of male pins had green color on the male connector. Clean it with sand paper and contact cleaner also tape up rubber boot behind female connector. My e46 would flash in drive gear and trans cog light came on car goes into limp mode .problem fixed.☺

Is it a screw off connection

Yes, there’s a little tab on the side of the connection and you just twist it on and off

Yes it did, I don't have the car no more but I used shrink wrap
