OH yes, marshmallows. On sweet potatoes, they're the best. One way that I fixed my sweet potatoes. Is I cut them in half inch medallions leaving this skin on And I lined them flat in a frying pan with just a little bit of butter and a drop or two of oil. Slowly cook them till they get brown and crunchy around the edges. Then I sprinkled them with brown sugar and a little salt. OH, they are so good.

it appears that the weather is holding here in the north with 30 plus temps or nearly that most days. However it is cooling off during the nighttime, but that is alright with me because my cabbages are loving life as are my beets. I'm still harvesting summer squash with glee in my old heart. Love a good zucchini in my Lee Valley silicone steamer that works great in my microwave. hugs from me to you

Sweet Potato Pie was the best way to eat sweet potato.
oddly enough I've never had that. I've always kept it simple and a dinner side, perhaps I should broaden my scope on the good old sweet potato.
