Loved this video. Just what I needed! Where did you buy your frame pieces from? I'm doing a cabinet with a stained glass front door, and this would work perfectly.
Perfect video, thanks for the info y’all! I was just looking at framing to buy but have been so intimidated. Does the framing have a finish on it? I’m wondering about being able to stain the frame different colors.
It looks nice from the front and back. The screws are on the side (never on top)to carry the weight of the stained glass. This is for stained glass windows.
Awesome video on framing Ed...! 👍👍❤ By any chance would you have the catalog # for that wooden framing kit you purchased from Sunshine Glass? Thanks...!
I’ve watched so many of your framing videos and I have yet to see an explanation on how to measure your cut length other than put the tape on the 1” and measure to 34 cause if you don’t you are going to waste 33” which was just confusing to me. Does that just mean add two inches when measuring from the short point of the miter???
Where can I access your slotted framing supplies for purchase? I’m looking for white oak in slightly larger than the 1” that seems to be prevalent. What is your web address and do you have a contact number I can call? I made several large stained glass windows back in the 70’s and need to do some repairs. Thanks!
damn, how old is that blade in the miter saw? OMG, you put your hand super close to grab that scrap with the blade still turning. The blade protector wasn't covering the blade! Be careful!

Yes you can stain it.
Looks nice from the front but frames don’t typically have screws in the side. There must be a cleaner way to do that.

Awesome framing instructions job and example Ed...! This is Ray on Susie's laptop... : )
Thank you!
My framer added matching oak plugs/caps to conceal the screws for a nice finished look.
Yes, that is perfect!
