Probably not going to do another profile considering the result was nothing special and the list is similar. I went 6-3, one loss was due to misplay, other 2 were unforunate. I think at indy I got a bit unlucky over all, while at raleigh I got a bit lucky. Deck still feels really solid especially against non-snake decks. Snake-eyes can just high roll sometimes. www.duelingbook.com/deck?id=15634210 List is there for Indy.
@@darklewd9844I'm playing it with a VS engine and works well but more support is needed. Maybe a field spell or a handtrap better than the Slime. I hope Konami remembers
So talented wow, love the way you approach the construction of the decks. Will you have time to make a video on how to break a snake eye boards or maybe give some tips?
Few simples tips: When making your board going first, keep in mind of how hand traps interact with your board. I generally try to make rock add back as least important as possible as many people hold hand traps for rock. Don't play into nib when you have a strong set up (fenrir + snow devil + ash/inscription+shifter) but don't be afraid to greed into nib if your hand is weaker. Don't be afraid to rely on floodgate monsters (bago/dweller) if your setup isn't strong due to a weak opening or getting hand trapped. Don't overly on them though as they often play into nib. When going second, think about what effects you want to have resolve. Often that is going to be razen's search effect, so leading in weird ways is fine. There are plenty of games I start with stake reveal fenrir for caesar or I normal razen and start with the pop knowing I can get the search later (for example stake into mad love for continue).
Great run as always! Idk about you, but I often open hands with a bunch of copies of Jiaolong, Caesar, and Borger. That is the only reason I am hesitant to up the tag cards to 3. Feels bricky, but you seem to do very well so I might have to try it
I also played vanquish soul at ycs Raleigh I went 1-4 every match was against Kashtira. One game I drew 2 jinglong 1 bother and 2 ceaser. I showed my opponent and he laughed
@@jonanderirureta8331jialong as one off makes some hands kinda weird. If you open razen and jiao u straight up dosnt end on the trap except you draw another fire luckily
Partially do to the rise of branded which is a bad matchup, but the main reason is I just wanted to play VS. I enjoy Voiceless, but VS is very fun and I have a lot of time under the deck so I wanted to play it at an event while I still felt it was viable.
@SantoliYugioh makes sense, branded has definitely been my worst matchup playing voiceless since release, but I really think the new continuous spell plus pendgraph gives you a fighting chance in the matchup now. Hope to see your take on voiceless going forward since you make some of the best deck profiles in the game. Cheers!
Basically yeah. You search continúe off of madlove then send razen to grave with dempsey, reborn razen, search, then you can make rock and add back razen for follow-up/interruption.
If fenrir madlove is the "standard" dempsey line. You get fenrir and madlove on board with continue and riseheart in hand. Make rock with mad love then use continue to revive mad. Special riseheart and make dempsey with mad love and riseheart and you still have rock special. There are other lines where you just end up getting hand trapped but have level 4s. It is kinda dangerous versus snake eyes, I'd generally prioritize just making bago to stall. But against more fair decks like kash and floo I feel comfortable with just engine using dempsey.
Is the engine really that good? I struggle to see it being all that strong compared to everything else. I really wanna take this deck to locals this week, but missing S:P and typhon... not sure if I should.
@@TemporalDelusion no problem bro! Hope you enjoy:) vanquish soul isn’t the best deck but it’s still my favourite deck in terms of design, skill expression and most importantly the fun aspect of the deck👍
You do not need S:P. It comes up occasionally, but I had regionals where I haven't made it once. Ty-phon is a bit more needed but still not mandatory. The engine isn't snake-eyes level good. But its a very solid midrange engine compared to stuff like floo/kash and now melodious and tenpai.
when you are going to participate in a ycs you have to keep in mind that you cannot prepare against everything. You have to make a reading of what you think you are going to face in most rounds and build your deck around that. With this logic you have a better chance of getting better results. However, the deck has an alternative win condition which is to grind and burn with heavy borger.

Multiple names I think is better than no names I believe. As long as I get a body on board the names are fine to play with.

what changes would you make with LEDE in the format?
The list is pretty LEDE ready. Side can switch around. The C's for veidos is something I've considered.
Sped Run the profile with theory.
did you play pressure planet in your games?
I drew it a few games. Not a standout card but definitely solid.
They made your tiebreakers bad to hide the best deck of the format
Do you do coaching? I’m on Voiceless rn and I’d love to get some insight on possible deckbuilding for the regional coming up?
I have limited time right now with real life commitments. That might change in the future but for now my coaching time is limited.
Do you think ghost belle will be good into tenpai reborn from gy? Or will inscription cover it with no moving from graveyard
I don't think either of those cards is needed for tenpai matchup. If you want directed hate, veidos is good (it is also a dark).
Any reasom you decided to not play voiceless for this event? Anyways great profile as always!

Thoughts on pinpoint landing?
If pot gets hit I will consider it. I find pot's consistency too valuable though especially compared to pinpoint which doesn't help me get to razen.
What effect you call with inscription?
The first effect to prevent grave effects from being activated.
Give VS a field card, cowards
True
Not enough non-engine
doesn’t drnm conflicts with the burns effect?
The deck does not revolve around the burns. It's a bonus on top.
Yes but against those decks you just just clear board and set up. You will win the grind once you get past the initial board.

Most of the times you won’t even make those cards so you’re probably fine bringing it to a locals:).
