After playing basketball for years, I’m now focusing on become a coach. In fact, I’m interviewing for the job within the hour. If hired, I’ll be coaching with zero experience. With that in mind, I desperately need to study as much as possible before I feel capable of being a head coach. This video was the first one I came across, and I just wanted to thank you for posting this. So much great information! I love your attention to detail on every single play. If I land that coaching position, I’ll have to give you a shoutout. A moments away from this interview with my nerves at a 10, this 12 minute video honestly made me feel completely ready for thins interviewing. Thanks again!

Solid video.. Appreciate this, as I just started coaching a middle school AAU team... But two questions: Why in the hell is the up n under move called the Dominque, and not the Mchale , as in Kevin??🤔

The Cincinnati base offense is referred to as being "for 3rd through 5th grade." How well would it work for older kids (say 8th grade)? What would you recommend instead as a base offense for 8th graders?

How refreshing it was to see this video. I have looked and looked for drills for my little youth team & these really helped. So many of the other videos aren't done too well. I'll have to tweak them for their age group but the video was to the point & no wasted time showing the drills. For anybody making videos this is how it's done. Thank you guys for making this and in the manner in which you made it. EXCELLENT! I just wish people would post more drills for like 6 and 7 year olds on here.

Smoke Stake???? Where is the help side? If they lose the ball, there is no one back to help out. The other team has an easy lay-up. I always have the third man set a block for the fourth man and then fall back to high post.

The first one is not really a triple threat. When you are doing a triple threat you should jump a little before you catch the ball so you can pivot with either foot.

In the inbound plays the passer should "get in the game" immediately after passing instead of standing out of bounds like in many of your drills. It's best to go to the offside to get a rebound.

Coach, when teaching one pass away never swivel your head. You cannot take you eye off the ball or your man. You must see both in your peripheral vision. If you do not, when you are looking at the ball, your man cuts. If you are looking at your man, you cannot help.

Please help me ,, need your suggestions or comments :(
My father wants me that i will be a boxer , but i dont want it and im not really interested . When its practice time at the gym he always talks and talks and its really annoying . He says that im lazy in practicing and i really am cause its not in my interest and it always goes to an argument . He says that if i dont follow what he says much better we separate and ill live my own life , yet im still 16 yrs old , Is that right ? forcing you to something you are not enjoying and if you dont follow it he will not feed you ? what will i do ? Im really interested in playing basketball and i enjoy playing it. but my father says boxing is a big money .

If you actually look at it, boxing has a pretty low chance of yoy getting really famous getting money while basketball really seems like a higher chance. But really follow your heart i guess. You like basketball but not boxing so maybe split your time in half with your dad, working on both bball and boxing?
