    I had no doubt that you would like Gaziantep-style baklava. Since you are French, you are more likely to appreciate the taste of rich-buttery taste and croissant-like texture of Antep baklava. The last on you tasted is called sobiyet. Within the family of baklava-like desserts that is my most favorite. It is less sweet, much lighter and very flaky. The one you thought to have mussels have no mussels, not at all. Just because of the shape it has that name. Putting meat or seafood in baklava is almost sacrilegious.

    The baklava in the clam_ mussle shape had clotted cream :) and turkish baklava is unique crunchy outside,moisty inside especially when u eat in gaziantep.

    In many cities in Turkey they tear down these houses because back then they were build without any safety in mind and we have regular earthquakes here. The same is happening in old areas of istanbul, we had to tear down our house too.

    19:27 yes you‘re Right. They want to build new Apartments, not only in Gaziantep also in all citys of turkey. It‘s a Kind of Projekt calls „ Kentsel dönüsüm“. The old Apartments calls „gecekondu“

    09:05 "Mussel" is similar in shape to baklava. It is not the mussel in the seas. The white part in it is a kind of milk cream. Milk and semolina are processed together.

    Kocak baklava. thats the place you visited to eat baklava. The best place in Gaziantep to eat Baklaba. I was there once and return back to my country having 5 kilos of baklava with me

      Kurdistan is in northern Iraq, you can go there, you can say other Kurdish names, but these cities are in the republic of turkey, i am from gaziantep and gaziantep is a hero city of the republic of turkey.

    I hope u didn’t go only the places u showed. Because that places looks like a arabian country (and most of the syrian people lives there). Gaziantep is not a place like that. Most of the people in the world thinks that turkey is a arabian country and all of the places are just like u showed and we use camels to travel lol. Im glad u visited here and liked our foods.

      40 liras, 2.5 euros for that plate he said. its usually sold for about 250-300 lira (10-15 euros) for a kilogram. baklava wont be 2 liras.

      Rubbish. Learn some history. It has been Turkish since the city was the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum in 1150. The majority of the population has been Turkish with a minority of Arabs. It has never been part of Syria.
