Diana Trout oh this is so good!!!! I'm newish to heat embossing .. the alchemist inside me LOVES this idea! .. next craft buy up I've added "get a big jar of clear embossing powder" to the list!! Can't WAIT to do a thin one for a card. I wonder how heavy it is? Sorry to comment here but I couldn't see how to comment on this video tutorial!? Thanks for showing us this technique 😁
It's really a cool technique isn't it? I love embossing! I'm putting up a video tomorrow or Friday on my channel on embossing if you might be interested.
Hi MissFlux, thank you for commenting! The embellishment isn't very heavy at all and wold work well on a card! You'll need our Melt It to get it to melt that fast :) I hope this helps xx
Hi! You can use Melt It as ordinary clear embossing powder, but it is so fine that you won't get the raised effect like you would with normal embossing powders.
Is there an air bubble problem with this like there is with glossy accents and other similar glues? I ask because this looks like it could work for making bottle cap charms.
Hi! If you overstir is then you might get air bubbles but if they are on the surface, you should be able to get rid of them with your heat tool. I hope this helps!
The only time I would use it for straight forward embossing is if I was covering an area entirely and wanted a subtle sheen, it's incredibly fine. Hope this helps. Marion xx
Wow and just wow embossing powder 👍👍👍
Those would make great ornaments for handmade books. I need to try this! Thanks

what a novel idea. at last, something new I want to try!
How solid is the heart? Can you bend it with your fingers?
Can you use the melt it powder as ordinary white embossing powder? Or is it just used for making embellishments?

Thanks for showing how to do it without the electric melt pot!
