  • Today I show you everything you need to build a Rhino Racing Shark. Mine originally started as a Yokomo YD2Z Ready to Run on the RD1.0 Platform. I have heard there may be some differences on the RD2.0 kit that is new. I hope this video can help anyone looking at different RC Drift Chassis to get.

Which spacer you use for the upper front arms with the ddss?? stock is to small

Im running the shark front arms now but I do remember I had to stack spacers on the shocks to push them farther forward away from the arms to clear them.

Is it cheaper to get a doner or buy the parts needed sepsrately?

The donor seemed the easiest to build at the time, I was able to go step by step and do one upgrade at a time rather than be forced to build the entire shark all at once. It also was hard at the time to source certain parts so I would have had to spend $60 for a $9 dollar part and I wasn’t down for that haha. My shark still isn’t full complete either, I’m still running the stock plastic arms and hubs on the rear off my car that came with the doner car I used. Unless your buying a full built shark that’s ready to go, your probably going to want a doner car so you can at least be able to drive it during the upgrade process.👍🏼

hi there! say... about the gearbox... what's the configuration of it? does it takes 1 or 2 idle gears?!

    • @SeanLewisMedia

You can choose 1 or 2 idler gears. Running one give you a 3 gear setup, running two make it a 4. I run 1 idler in my own car

I double stack two 10mm’s to make a 20mm for the shocks. Thank you for the kind words🙏🏼
