The storyline continues over million of years onwards. The episodes so far barely touches the surface. There has been many publishers that have already put all the novels into audios and its freaking amazing the storylines, I couldnt wait for episode to come out so slowly so listened to the audio and it gets sooooo much better. The fights are amazing and fundemntal of fighting style and powers are introduced. This part of the storyline is only bound to Earth, after this storyline finishes, it travels further into the galaxy and the fundemntal of the universe and power is explained. The audio for the novels so good I have listened to it a few times. So far there is over 272+ audios with each lasting 2 hours . So the anime has so much to catch up.
