    That's a colony of dogs and they do that barking thing every night. The locals keep them and feed them on purpose because it makes harder for thieves to move around on streets at night. Somehow the dogs understand their actual purpose and become actively aggressive each night. Locals have got used to sleeping amidst the barking.

      That's a bit scary. Especially in touristy areas like Goa's beaches. Luckly most of them are sleeping during the day. I also got used to the barking after a while, but the first night was a bit shocking :)

      @@juliuskaveckas They won't bark at you at all in the day. But try to approach them in the night and they'll be aggressive and will show you their teeth. They treat everyone in the night as thieves. Like curfew guards at night.

      Luckily we don't go out much at night :) I'm not too sure about monkeys as well though. I always try to keep a bigger distance from them, even though they're so interesting, and I could watch them doing their things for hours :)
