  • Little review on the Earth T-Rex 650B SP TREKKING. March 2021. Personal purchase, using as a delay ride bike, around the 45 - 60kms day for work and task's. Quite a lot of E-BIke options out there, this one jumped out for being quite complete, good price, and a solid rack with up to 15kgs.

I'm going to test ride one tomorrow, I'll be using for commuting and I have a couple of large hills to traverse. Are you still happy with it?

apologies, I am quite behind. I was happy up until the frame cracked, a touch under 6000kms, how ever the current frame looks good, and is covered for 3 years with warranty

@@ausetour500 yeah sounds good! I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Where'd you get your paneers from?

what kind of range are you getting from this ebike? specs claim 70km-100km+... is that true in real life?

Hello Mario, with what i have seen 100km+ is doable, that being said, I ride around a natural (to me) 27 kph, so the bike is not using much battery to assist my ride, hills, take of at traffic lights etc, and or at night i tend to use seperate ‘USB’ lights in place of the fitted front light, also for lowering the battery drain.

@@ausetour500 thanks for your reply, I'll go for a test ride... it looks like a nice bike and ticks all the boxes

Any downsides from your experience with the bike so far?

The bike has been good, I have done 2,600kms (1,400 miles ish) so far, the pannier rack had a crack early, swapped under warranty in 2 days even in Covid conditions, and that’s about it, keeping an eye on bolts and over all maintenance when doing many kms and on/off road riding.
