You’re wrong. When Roman was the OC in Baltimore with Hortiz there, they rostered 7 WR when they had a really young WR squad that lacked a lot of Veteran presence. Also, Palmer/Chark injury concerns. I think they can go with 7, not nearly out of the question.
The third QB is an “emergency QB”. They can suit up on game day, but cannot play unless the other two go down. If you bring in the EQB, than the others cannot come back into that game. I would like them to make a move on Heinicke from Atlanta.
God pod, guys! Taylor Heinicke sits behind Cousins and Penix. Tyler Huntley plays behind Cleveland's Rape-o Duo and he played for Greg Roman for 4 years in Baltimore. Because of him knowing the offense, Huntley would be my #1 target, if available. TE is too critical to Harbaugh teams. I would keep Dissly, Hurst, Trask, Parham and pray that Heins clears waivers (which he should). Trask has been an absolute animal since the day he arrived. He is a Harbaugh kind of guy. WRs... I would love to see them keep 7 (counting Derius Davis as a WR). Palmer, McConkey, Chark, QJ, Rice, Fehoko and DD. Fehoko has been the best WR in pre-season games. He gets open and catches the ball. If I had to take one away, my preference would be to dump QJ (but that isn't happening). Rice would not clear waivers but Fehoko might. O-line takes the first five. Jaimes, Salyer, McFadden, Sarell. 5 d-linemen with Tremon Moris-Bash as the 5th. Rumph starts on IR.
@@texmcboog That was my first choice for a long time, but the season is under three weeks away and having a guy with 4 years of playing this scheme made me go Huntley.
@@hokieduck Agreed. But with this roster and the needs to build depth, a purely “Red Zone Specialist” is a luxury. Also, brining in Parham is an almost guarantee that the play is going to be a pass. It made sense the last four years where that is pretty much all they did, but with this GRo offense, maybe that is too much of a tip? I just think that Parham is so limited in what he offers, that there is better roster spot value in an extra WR or another TE that can actually block.
Have one backup qb and 7 wide recirvers. If herbert gors down it eiesnt matter what happens, seaosn is over. If they want tannhill as backup thats cool, but no reason to have a bunch of bad backups on the rosters
15:40 you named Palmer 2x in your top 6
Thanks! Yep that’s my bad, meant to say Johnston. - Dan
@ChargersUnleashed nonetheless, appreciate you guys and the content! BTFU ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hortiz is handling this team like a fantasy roster! I love it 😂
You said Josh Palmer twice.. you left out QJ.

Plus you need insurance especially with QJ being a work in progress
Our #2 QB ... will join the team after cut-downs ... a veteran. Perez is #3.
Love yall ❤⚡️
A running-focused team won't carry 7 receivers.
Agree with Jake more than Dan on OL and DL
I don't think Parham makes the roster. Or Rumph.
Harper Safety, Woods CB
Dan, are you married to a super model?? Because that cutie pie HAS TO look like her mom. You out kicked your coverage bro 😂😂😂
Yes I am! Yes I did! Thanks so much! 😂 - Dan
Disagree Fehoko is a keeper

Guys,Parham isn't built to play football. He is constantly getting injured.I like the guy, but he isn't reliable.
I don't think Tony Jefferson makes the team.
Dan how do you start that question with 5 or 6 receivers lol. No way they keep 5
Fair! 😂 - Dan

Good call on the QBs!
I like Heinicke. I think he is the better choice in this modified GRo offense.
Parham is a turnstile. He can’t get a low pad level. He couldn’t block the 3rd stringers this weekend against the Rams.

@@texmcboog I agree, but he can get high in the red zone. 4:20 ⚡

Too expensive and limits other roster moves.
Can you guys please let me know what you guys see on this Chargers team to give me hope.because I'm tired of off season hype for over 50 years.
Dan oh god this your baby daughter omg can we use her as back QB FOR HERBERT I AM CONVINCED SHE CAN DO BETTER THEN STICK LOL 😆
Get rid of QJ
You're high, evidently.
I think we need to relax on this qb 2 bs it’s not even worth talking about
